Description
Directly responsible for providing non-clinical services to individuals with mental health needs who reside in Saratoga County. This is an in person role, in Saratoga Springs, New York.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Facilitate the Peer Run Social Club.
- Provide coverage for Saratoga County Warm line as needed.
- Provide training and teach skills needed to navigate mental health services in Saratoga County to identified clients.
- Promotes socialization, recovery, self-sufficiency, development of natural supports as well as coping skills and goal setting for those individuals with mental health issues.
- Act as an advocate by assisting individuals with housing issues, medical concerns, therapy or medication related problems, employment goals, and basic budgeting skills.
- Assist with benefits counseling.
- Engage participants in shared decision making around services and recovery planning.
- Function as part of a participant’s treatment to ensure integrated, collaborative care.
- Assist participants with the identification of activities that promote a sense of prosocial community engagement.
- Participate in regularly scheduled supervisions.
- Complete daily case notes.
- Complete all required agency trainings as well as trainings and certifications set forth by the New York State Office of Mental Health.
- Must possess strong interpersonal boundaries.
- High School or GED required.
- At least two years’ experience with the Mental Health system in Saratoga County.
- Per regulatory requirements, must have life experience with mental health and/or recovery from
- substance abuse.
- Peer Empowerment Credential required for Adult HCBS.
- Must have a valid NYS Driver’s license. Ability to operate agency vehicles is required.

Description
As a Director of CSE and School Psychology, you will direct and oversee the completion of intellectual, academic, and social emotional assessments and re-evaluations of students referred to the Committee on Special Education (CSE) at the School at Northeast and Neil Hellman School. You will lead the Committee on Special Education meetings and provide oversight to the NYS Special Education Regulations. You will report to the Chief Officer of Education and will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intellectual, academic and social-emotional assessments
- Conduct and lead Committee on Special Education meetings as CSE Chairperson
- Consult and collaborate with staff on Functional Behavioral Assessments, Behavior Intervention Plans and Individualized Education Plans
- Consult and collaborate with staff on FBA, BIP, and IEP requirements
- Present evaluations and results to staff and parents the implications of results and resulting classification decisions
- Consult with staff regarding behavioral, emotional, and educational difficulties of specific students
- Provide training to all teaching staff on IEP development on a regular basis to meet state and Federal Special Education regulations
- Ensure initial, annual, and intermittent IEP meetings are held in compliance with all state and Federal regulations

Job Summary | The Procurement Agent is responsible for ensuring that supplier data is accurate, up to date, and in compliance with Institute policies. Director of Accommodative Services
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular Full-Time
Supervisor: Director of Counseling Center
Position Purpose: Leads the Accommodative Services Office at Union College, providing strategic direction and overseeing day-to-day operations to support students with disabilities. Sets department goals, establishes organizational structures, develops policies and procedures, educates stakeholders, and supervises staff to ensure effective delivery of services. Advocates for students with disabilities, determines and coordinates accommodations, and promotes inclusivity within the campus community.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Leadership and Program Management: Oversees the Accommodative Services Office, establishing goals, crafting policies, and guaranteeing adherence to pertinent legislation such as Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Guides and supports the Assistant Director, Testing Coordinator, and a cohort of Peer Mentors to deliver inclusive assistance to students with disabilities. Handles the annual budget for the department.
- Reviewing Documentation and Assigning Accommodations: Examines and updates medical, psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and pertinent documentation. Identifies and enacts appropriate accommodations mandated by law. Chairs the Committee on Special Housing to assess and decide on special housing requests, including assigning single housing units and emotional support animals.
- Student Support and Advocacy: Collaborates with students to evaluate their requirements, coordinates accommodations, and devises initiatives to meet their needs. Champions students’ rights and enlightens the campus community about disability-related matters. Works closely with campus departments to facilitate accommodations for temporary disabilities, medical needs, housing, and mental health.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Engages with faculty, staff, students, parents, and community members to advise on disability services, legal rights, and accommodations. Collaborates with college attorneys, consultants, deans, and faculty to address concerns and ensure compliance. Supports students in study abroad programs and graduate school applications by providing required paperwork and ensuring their needs are accommodated.
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, psychology, education, student affairs, higher education administration, or a related field is required.
- Must possess a minimum of seven (7) years of leadership experience in developing, coordinating, and managing disability-related services, preferably within a higher education setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legislation and practice concerning disabilities, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, the ADA Amendments (ADAAA) of 2008, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Compensation
The annual salary range this position is $80,000.00-$90,000.00. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. As a Licensed Clinical Community Service Providers, you will provide Children and Family Treatment Support Services (CFTSS). These mental health services available with New York State Children's Medicaid program, give children (up to age 21) and their families the power to improve their health, well-being and quality of life. Primary Responsibilities:
Programming and Development:

Software Licensing:
- Review and respond to software license requests from faculty/staff/students.
- Distribute licenses in accordance with University and ITS policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of software purchases, activation codes, distribution/assignment of software licenses, and chargebacks to departments.
Billing:
- Process monthly billing for ITS activities and track receipt of payments.
- Investigate any discrepancies in revenue.
Asset Management:
- Work collaboratively across ITS to ensure accurate asset management needs and processes are fulfilled in a timely matter.
- Ensure all purchases have the appropriate Asset Management forms/tags when received and disposed of.
- Record accurate information in the Asset Management database, including the addition and removal of assets.
Additional/Other Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with staff from ITS and other departments on campus to facilitate transactions for all Central Business Office activities.
- Serve as a backup for coverage of reception area.
- Perform all operations in compliance with SUNY and New York State financial / procurement policies.
