Clinician, Residential (RTF)
Licensed Social Workers are eligible for a $7500 signing bonus!
As a Clinician in the Residential Treatment Facility (RTF), you will coordinate client assessments and work with the child, family, legal guardian, law guardian, psychiatrist, nurse, psychologist, educators, child care staff, and other providers to prepare, implement and monitor a comprehensive, permanency-focused case plan for children in the Residential Program. You will report to the Director of the Residential Treatment Facility and will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the direct treatment providers to establish treatment goals for children, utilizing historical and current available information.
- Meet and communicate with biological families, guardians, foster families, and case workers.
- Assess individual and family situations.
- Identify problem areas, treatment goals and methods to attain goals.
- Provide therapeutic services to children on at least a weekly basis and families on at least a bi-weekly basis using differential treatment modalities.
- Work with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a comprehensive treatment plan and to monitor ongoing progress of child and family.
- Learn and practice case coordination skills.
- Work with referring and collateral agencies and prepare reports and correspondence
- Record and maintain case record in accord with Agency, OMH, and other state mandates.
- Participate in intake assessments as assigned.
- Diligently plan for discharge/permanency, at the time of admission.
- Communicate with clients and customers through phone and email correspondence.
- Ensure quality oversight and improvement services.
Requirements and Education:
- Requires a Master’s degree.
- One year of related experience preferred.
- Professional licensure preferred: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
- Must pass physical.
- Must be able to complete TCI training.

Union’s Phonathon is looking to hire current Union students! The Phonathon student caller program is the student outreach initiative for Union College. Student employees will be responsible for conversing with and soliciting Union alumni, parents, and friends for donations through various communication methods. You will spend time talking on the phone with prospective donors, raising support for the college, and connecting yourself to the vast network that Union’s alumni have to offer.
Each student is required to work at least two shifts per week with afternoon shifts available Monday-Thursday. There will be opportunities for evening shifts when special giving day initiatives occur.

Position Purpose: Leads the Accommodative Services Office at Union College, providing strategic direction and overseeing day-to-day operations to support students with disabilities. Sets department goals, establishes organizational structures, develops policies and procedures, educates stakeholders, and supervises staff to ensure effective delivery of services. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Leadership and Program Management: Oversees the Accommodative Services Office, establishing goals, crafting policies, and guaranteeing adherence to pertinent legislation such as Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, psychology, education, student affairs, higher education administration, or a related field is required.
- Must possess a minimum of seven (7) years of leadership experience in developing, coordinating, and managing disability-related services, preferably within a higher education setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legislation and practice concerning disabilities, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, the ADA Amendments (ADAAA) of 2008, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

As a Case Manager, Regional Permanency Resource Center you will provide supportive services and case management services to adoptive, guardianship and kinship families so they are able to make informed decisions with regards to services and supports that best meet their needs. You will report to the Case Manager Supervisor. You will work in a hybrid environment with some travel to client's homes in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a systems navigator to families who have adopted or who have children in guardianship or kinship care through the provision of case management.
- Meet with families in their home to assess needs
- Assess needs, conduct service planning, service plan implementation, service coordination, monitoring and follow-up, reassessment and review with the family via in-home or community monthly visits. Services include but are not limited to information and referral services; referral to legal services; attendance at family court dates; transportation; housing assistance; childcare; basic family needs (vital needs in emergencies and with expenses that are unforeseen); educational advocacy services; and facilitating appointments with social services, medical health providers, and mental health services.

Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University at Albany seeks applicants for a Computer Deployment Specialist to support a campus-wide project to replace all non-Windows 11 compatible computers by Fall 2025. This is a large project with a tight timeline. Faculty, staff, conference room, classroom, and research lab computers will be replaced.
The successful candidate will be assigned to the Field Support (FSG) Deployment Group, which will work as a specialized team to deploy all new computers quickly and efficiently. The FSG Deployment Group will support the preparation and deployment/installation of new computers, including installing software, setting up peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.), and removing and securely disposing of old computers. The FSG Deployment Group will deploy computers across three campus locations as appointments and rooms are scheduled with faculty and staff.
This position reports to the FSG Deployment Group Supervisor. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively under challenging circumstances. They must also be able to complete work within scheduled time constraints. Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications is required. Seeking an experienced professional who will develop and supervise a multi-disciplinary team that provides services to youth and families with the highest level of need in the community. As a Clinician for Mobile Crisis, you will be providing crisis risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), crisis stabilization and interventions, de-escalation techniques and follow-up services to the identified client experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises. These interventions, provided by telephone and on-site mobile visits, will be implemented using a strength-based, trauma-informed, systems-oriented perspective and will include the development of crisis prevention and safety plans; follow-up to evaluate the effectiveness of plans; coordination of services with existing treatment providers; and linkage to additional community-based therapeutic resources and supports. As a Clinician for Mobile Crisis, you will be providing crisis risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), crisis stabilization and interventions, de-escalation techniques and follow-up services to the identified client experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises. This includes rotation of schedule to provide coverage during holidays and weekends.
- Conduct risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), mental status examinations, and substance abuse screening.
- Analyze information to identify action plan, which includes crisis stabilization plan, safety, and crisis prevention plans, and plan for follow-up. Consult with team and supervisors.
- Coordinate with community resources for collateral input and follow-up care, including referrals for mental health treatment and substance abuse assessment and treatment.

- Monitor student behavior and help maintain discipline in the classroom; record behavior data as requested; assist with crisis prevention; assist with de-escalation techniques with students.

- Collaborate with teacher and other staff to incorporate information provided by parents, doctors, nurses, therapists and others to understand the needs of and provide services for students.

Position Purpose: Works closely with the head coach to develop and execute training programs, provide guidance and mentorship to student-athletes, and contribute to the overall success of the men’s ice hockey program.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Recruitment: Assists in recruiting and retaining top prospective student athletes who are fully engaged in the mission of Union College. Collaborates with the head coach and admissions department to arrange on-campus visits for all prospective student-athletes and their families. Ensures compliance with all recruitment policies and procedures.
- Coaching: Demonstrates effective teaching methods and exceptional leadership skills. Collaborates with the athletics trainer to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of all participants. Conducts thorough analysis of practice and game film to inform strategic practice and game planning.
- Student-Athlete Development: Works proactively with campus stakeholders to ensure the academic success and development of student-athletes. Mentors student-athletes.
- Administration: Supports aspects designated by the head coach of the hockey program adhering to NCAA, league, and department compliance. Pitches in to assist colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of proven success in coaching ice hockey, with a demonstrated ability to recruit high-caliber student-athletes who contribute to the overall success of the program.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with experience using XOS software, is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary for recruiting.
- Able to proactively identify and pursue relevant learning and professional development opportunities and apply new knowledge, insights, and skills to enhance results.
- The ability to foster and enhance a thriving, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, alumni, faculty, and staff colleagues.

Compensation
