Job Summary | The Academic Support Engineer (or Senior) provides technical support for fabrication resources within the School of Engineering, including the Forge (student maker space), BioMed FabLab, and MILL. The Academic Support Engineer collaborates with faculty and staff to initiate and update advanced manufacturing curriculum ensuring it remains at the forefront of advanced manufacturing education. This position also maintains the current manufacturing equipment while staying up to date on new manufacturing technologies and equipment. Additionally, this person coordinates with faculty on manufacturing classes and instructs Computer-Aided Machining and General Manufacturing Processes Classes. |

Art Teacher
**Sign On Bonus $5,000** (paid in 2 parts 1/2 at 30 days and 1/2 at a year)
Available shifts - Monday - Friday between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm - no weekends
As an Art Teacher, you will provide art education that follows the NYS standards to children grades K-12. You will report to the Assistant Principle (Principle) and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and organize art materials and equipment,
• Provide therapeutic art instruction to individuals, small groups, and classrooms,
• Provide leadership in a variety of school-wide art events and activities,
• Work with school administration to deliver art experiences to students in a variety of school-wide venues on the agency campus,
• Provide subject area instruction (Art) that follows the NYS K-12 Art Curricula and provides students with appropriate level art lessons and age experiences.
• Develop and implement art instructional materials to provide individual and small group instruction to students of various ability levels grades K-12.
• Provide leadership in the school for promoting Art activities and experiences for students. Work with teachers to encourage classroom, small group, and individual art activities, projects, and events.
• Follow school and agency procedures and policies for reporting incidents. This includes behavior incident reports (IR) and incidents such as child/sexual abuse, substance abuse, harassment, bullying, and violence.
• Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to our school and students.
• Provide leadership to assigned teacher assistants in the various clerical and non-instructional duties or needed for your classroom.

Job Summary | The Assistant Director of Assessment works in the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) with a primary focus on fostering a culture of assessment and continuous quality improvement efforts among faculty and administration. The Assistant Director will provide ongoing assistance and training to faculty and staff on best practices in assessment to improve student learning and program effectiveness. The Assistant Director will play a key role in coordinating the assessment of general education (core outcomes). Job Summary | The Department of Biological Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Cellular Neuroscience. Minimum Qualifications | All candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree, or foreign degree equivalent in biology and/or neuroscience or a closely related field. Postdoctoral experience is required. Candidates for the rank of Assistant Professor must exhibit promise of future distinction in research, scholarship, and teaching. As a Children's Health Home Care Manager, you will engage youth and families through outreach activities until enrollment into the Children's Health Home program. You will coordinate and monitor subsequent services to meet the needs of your members. You will report to a program supervisor, working in a hybrid model. Description
As a Clinical Case Manager in the Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program, you will provide six to nine months of intensive services to families whose children are either at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. The goals of the program are to prevent out-of-home placement for troubled children, provide a safe environment to return children already in placement, and prevent future out-of-home placement. You will report to the Program Coordinator and you will work with a partner (clinician) in a combination of on-site and remote with travel to client's homes required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide home and community services to individuals, groups, and families as prescribed in the treatment plan for those enrolled in our Family Preservation Services.
- Educate families in a variety of social-emotional and parenting skills such as communication, discipline, anger management, emotional regulation, attunement, caregiver affect management, decision making, problem-solving, social skill building, budgeting, family and home organization, behavioral management, etc.
- Work in partnership with a Master’s level clinician to provide needed services to an assigned caseload of families.
- Complete and maintain appropriate case records through the completion of intake, assessments, progress notes, uniform case records, reports, etc. following agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements.
- Participate in the comprehensive assessment and creation of the treatment plan for assigned cases to determine and address service needs and ensure the provision of regular treatment plan meetings and service plan reviews.
- Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family courts, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and family as it relates to their treatment.
- You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and a rotating on-call schedule.
Requirements and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field;
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families;
- Home and community-based experience is a plus.
