Supervisor: Manger Mailing Services
Position Purpose:Assist mailroom with customer service counter distribution of packages, mail/ship for customers, sort incoming mail and packages, make campus mail deliveries.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Customer Service: Assists at the customer service counter to address inquiries, including processing mail and shipping requests efficiently and kindly.
- Mail Processing and Deliveries: Handles incoming mail packages, ensuring they are accurately sorted and logged. Conducts regular delivery of mail and packages to various departments across campus, ensuring items are delivered promptly. Follow safety and security procedures for handling mail and packages.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.
- Must be safety conscious, able to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions and work with a diverse group of staff and students.

Compensation
The rate for this position is $15.00 per hour. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Job Summary | The Administrative Specialist serves as the primary point of contact in the Office of the President for visitors and callers and is responsible for ensuring that all parties receive prompt, professional and courteous attention when contacting the President’s Office. The Administrative Specialist may independently respond to inquiries, assist the visitor/caller on appropriate next steps, or direct to the appropriate person or department. In addition, the Specialist acts as the Building Coordinator for the Troy Building; is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the offices on the 3rd and 4th floors designated to the President; ensures that office supplies and equipment are inventoried and maintained; and ensures that electronic and paper records are filed and/or destroyed as appropriate. Additionally, the Administrative Specialist performs a full range of secretarial and administrative duties supporting the President’s staff. The position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and customer focus that must be demonstrated and maintained. |
