Job Summary | The Assistant Director (AD) of Student Activities is responsible for planning, facilitating and assisting in the coordination of student club programs on campus. The incumbent will develop programs working with clubs and other campus departments focusing on diversity and inclusion, community involvement/engagement, student leadership and operations as an advocate for student clubs. The AD will work with the staff to develop opportunities for servant leadership growth and development. The AD will work in collaboration with Union/Mueller Center staff, campus colleagues, and student clubs to oversee the operation of the Clubhouse Pub under the guidance of the Director and Associate Director of Student Activities. The AD manages fiscal planning and reconciliation of student activities fees associated with club events and other programs and will assist with club operations and other services required to facilitate a student activities program. |

Job Summary | The Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information, and Quantum Technology, with focus on the fundamental aspects or applications of quantum computation, scalability, and error correction on current and future quantum computing devices. Research areas can include but not limited to quantum entanglement, decoherence, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments. Possible related areas would also include studying and exploiting the fundamental connections between Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Computing, simulating quantum field theory and many-body theory with a quantum computer (in particular, simulating systems with a “sign” problem), quantum communication networks, exotic quantum dynamics, quantum sensing protocols, exotic quantum phases of matter, and theory on the nature of information at the quantum level. With the anticipated of arrival of the IBM Quantum System One on our campus, this hire will have access to explore and implement some of these challenging problems. This hire would be part of a bold effort at RPI to strengthen and extend our current faculty cluster in Quantum Information, and would interact with our current faculty on quantum optics and photon entanglement, quantum field-theory, quantum fluctuations in networks, as well as with researchers from Computer Science, ECSE, Future of Computing Institute, and with the future hires of the recently announced Quantum Constellation. The position also represents a response to federal priorities expressed in the National Quantum Initiative Act. Associate Director for Fraternity & Sorority Life

Supervisor: Director of Residential Education
Position Purpose: Oversees and directs the operations, vision, and programs for Greek life at Union College by facilitating an environment where members of the Greek community can be challenged and supported in their personal growth, efforts, and experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to students. Shares responsibility with other Associate Directors for residential student staff processes (such as room selection, recruitment, selection, hiring, training, and ongoing development). Carries out the mission of Union College and the Division of Student Affairs.
This position primarily operates on site and requires in-person presence. Additionally, the role offers the opportunity for optional on-campus housing.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greek Community Development & Engagement: Creates a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive environment for Greek organizations. Manages and supervises the activities of and provides guidance to various National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities, North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) fraternities, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) organizations as well as local/unaffiliated organizations. Coordinates recruitment/intake and the annual review processes for all student Greek letter organizations. Designs and implements leadership development programs for the Greek community, including programming in the areas of risk management, membership recruitment/intake and education; problem resolution, and community planning.
- Supervision: Supervises the Community Director for Greek Houses. Indirectly supervises Greek house managers and part-time party monitors. Guides and supports the community director and student staff community development efforts, including the implementation of curricular engagement guides and corresponding assessments.
- Student Health and Safety: Monitors and intervenes with students who may be struggling academically and/or with other behavioral and developmental issues. Refers accordingly to services as needed. Participates in regular professional staff on-call rotation, providing crisis intervention and serving as a resource or referral agent. Understands and enforces Code of Student Conduct and other policies regarding behavior, safety, security, health, and other matters in cooperation with the appropriate offices. Serves as a campus judicial hearing officer. Participates in CARE team meetings and provides culturally responsive support to students.
- Collaboration: Builds relationships with alumni, donors, and other stakeholders to advance the Greek Life program and support its mission. Works in collaboration with designated staff in College Relations to interface with fraternity and sorority alumni. Serves as the liaison to national organizations, chapter advisors, and other College departments.
- Administration: Holds regular office hours to address student and staff needs. Manages the budget for the Greek Life department, allocating resources to support programming, events, and operational expenses. Attends campus community events. Serves on college committees as assigned. Assists with administrative office duties. Offers to pitch in to help colleagues during crunch times and overlapping deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or related field and 3-5 years of student affairs experience or equivalent, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. Knowledge of residential liberal arts college administration is desirable Knowledge of residential liberal arts college administration is desirable.
- Knowledge of National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities, North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) fraternities, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) organizations. Membership in an international/national fraternity or sorority is preferred.

The annual salary range this position is $60,000.00 - $62,000.00. As a Children's Health Home Care Manager, you will engage youth and families through outreach activities until enrollment into the Children's Health Home program. This is a large project with a tight timeline. Faculty, staff, conference room, classroom, and research lab computers will be replaced.
The successful candidate will be assigned to the Field Support (FSG) Deployment Group, which will work as a specialized team to deploy all new computers quickly and efficiently. The FSG Deployment Group will support the preparation and deployment/installation of new computers, including installing software, setting up peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.), and removing and securely disposing of old computers. The FSG Deployment Group will deploy computers across three campus locations as appointments and rooms are scheduled with faculty and staff.
This position reports to the FSG Deployment Group Supervisor. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively under challenging circumstances. They must also be able to complete work within scheduled time constraints. Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications is required. The candidate must also be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
The successful candidate must be able to anticipate and support customers with a wide range of technological expertise. This work requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to follow pre-defined processes and workflows to ensure standardization, and the ability to balance both the technical and basic functional expectations of the position.
Primary responsibilities:
As a member of the FSG Deployment Group, follow and assist with pre-defined processes and workflows as assigned, including:

Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. The Director is responsible for leading real estate and economic development programs to attract diverse and innovative partners to engage on properties owned by the Institution both residential and commercial, inclusive of properties at Rensselaer Technology Park (RTP). This will comprise extensive collaboration with multiple portfolios including the Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (OSAT), Provost, Student Life, OCEC, and Finance. The Director is responsible to develop programs to attract and maintain tenant occupants of RTP and create a self-funded real estate program. Programs that cultivate community and regional relationships and foster an exchange of ideas between community leaders, industry partners, researchers and students. The Director is responsible for all fiscal management of the RTP and real estate program including operating and capital budget development and financial controls to achieve goals. |

Job Summary | The Director, Student Activities develops and directs comprehensive student involvement and activities programs that inspire school spirit, amplify the RPI student experience, and support the unique student-staff partnership that characterizes the operation of the Rensselaer Union. This includes employing best practices in facilitating student's personal and professional development, creating opportunities for developmental growth, strengthening student clubs (including student government and class councils), and contributing to student recruitment and retention in support of the enrollment, graduation, and student success of both undergraduate and graduate students. Advise student leaders and organization representatives in their development and execution of events, activities, and programs, including; financial planning, safety, and liability/risk compliance in collaboration with the office of risk management. |

As an Early Head Start Teacher, you will provide a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment for children. You will report to an Early Head Start Supervising Teacher and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate classroom management skills, work as a part of a team, and complete records, reports, and data collection.
- Individualize curriculum based on each child's specific strengths and areas of need
- Facilitate screenings and ongoing assessments for assigned children
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
- Supervise and interact with children during family-style mealtimes and activities.
- Demonstrate respect for families' values, strengths, and culture by welcoming their contributions and participation, and designing learning experiences accordingly.
- Engage in training and learning opportunities, including those focused on learning and implementing curricula and classroom design and management
- Follow fire drills, shelter-in-place, intruder, or any emergency procedures to safely assist children following protocols.
Requirements and Education:
- CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) OR Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

- Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more.

Job Summary | Endowed Constellation Faculty in Future Chips at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute We are especially interested in candidates who have a demonstrated ability to perform high impact research in semiconductor technology to address the next generation challenges in computing. Areas of focus are rooted in fundamental science and engineering that drive advances in microelectronics, such as heterogeneous integration, advanced logic, advanced packaging, and power electronics. Physics of materials is also important to making these advances and is, therefore, an area of interest. The ideal candidates are expected to develop an internationally recognized, externally funded, scientific program in chip technology for the future of computing. The Future Chips Constellation will be a key stakeholder in the Center for Materials, Devices, and Integrated Systems (cMDIS) which houses the Microscale and Nanoscale Cleanroom and the Nanoscale Characterization Core.
