Position description:
We have a strong preference for candidates with demonstrated ability to teach financial economics (investments and/or corporate finance). We have some preferences for candidates who can teach Intermediate Macroeconomics or Intro to Econometrics.

About the Economics Department:

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $83,000-$86,000. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Job Summary | The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position starting Fall 2025, at the Assistant Professor level, from scholars who work in areas at the cutting edge of finance and accounting. Candidates with experience in quantitative methods including AI, machine learning, and data analytics are preferred. |
