Job Summary | The Student Services Coordinator serves in the Office of Undergraduate Student Services, located in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering. The Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of activities relating to the recruitment of new undergraduate students to the department, the retention and satisfaction of current students, and support of accreditation assessment activities. In addition, the Coordinator will be the first student-facing individual addressing general inquiries and questions for MANE students and faculty and is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for the School of Engineering and MANE. The Coordinator reports to the Senior Student Services Administrator. The Coordinator is expected to work independently and as part of a team of student-focused service providers. |

Job Summary | The Sr. Student Services Administrator works with the Graduate Program Director in Biomedical Engineering to manage all phases of the graduate student recruitment/admission process and the graduate student financial aid process for new and continuing students. This role works with prospective and current graduate students in order to recruit, retain, and advise students. The position also assists in all areas of the Office of Graduate Program, for the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and also interprets, communicates, and implements policies and procedures related to graduate student academic requirements. |

Special Education Teacher

As a Preschool Special Education Teacher, you will develop and implement of classroom instructional plans for preschool students in the Neil Hellman Preschool. - Provide leadership to assigned teacher aides and assistants in the various clerical and non-instructional duties or needed for your classroom.

Position Title: Class Dean
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular Full-time
Supervisor: Head Class Dean
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Student Advising: Advises students one-on-one and in groups providing personal and academic advising to meet their educational goals and graduation requirements. Collaborates with advisers, faculty, residential life staff, and other offices to guide, track, and coordinate student progress and support. Serves as a primary contact for parents and families with questions and concerns about their student’s experience. Promotes the support and retention of students. Works closely with students at-risk and on academic probation to provide additional support. Serves as an advocate for student well-being, ensuring support and services meet their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs.
Case Management: Serves a member of the college behavioral intervention team (CARE Team) and coordinates interventions and support for students of concern. The Class Dean will follow up with students on a wide variety of concerns and help them understand and connect with different resources available on and off campus.
Programming: Serves as a member of the Student Affairs Deans and Directors team and contributes to setting direction for the department. Leads or co-leads student affairs initiatives and student-centered activities. Provides programming for students aimed at helping them find success in their current class year, and encourages academic growth and development.
Team Collaboration, and Innovation: Contributes ideas, input, and support to Union Class Dean initiatives, decisions, communications, and other activities with student support implications. Seeks out, applies, and shares knowledge of student development trends and innovations. Collaborates with campus partners in responding to and managing student and campus-wide challenges and crises. Offers to pitch-in to help colleagues during crunch times and overlapping deliverables.
Additional Duties:

Qualifications:
Master’s degree plus eight to ten years of higher education administration and/or classroom teaching experience, and/or a comparable combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience.

Assistant Bursar
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular full-time
Supervisor: Controller
Position Purpose: Oversee student billing and collections, manage processing of auxiliary revenue, and provide strong customer service to students, their families and the campus community.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Student Billing and collections:
Assist Assistant Treasurer in processing initial student billing (including housing and dining) in coordination with the Registrar, Financial Aid, Enrollment, and other campus units.
Assist students with payment plans and financing options.
Process changes and adjust student accounts for refunds due to withdrawals and/or waivers for dining and housing.
Monitor student account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities; communicate past due accounts to students and their families to ensure that aged transactions are settled in a timely fashion; process late payment fees and registration holds as needed.
Communicate with students and their families via phone, email, mail or in person to investigate and resolve customer queries, inclusive of third party invoicing. Escalate to Assistant Treasurer as needed.
Process student health insurance billing and waivers.
Monitor, update information and record receipts of cash from federal, state and private student loans.
Process and record receipts of cash from external scholarships.
Work with external parties to process ROTC student payments.
Generate weekly revenue reports for the Controller's Office.
Implement policies and procedures for revenue/receivables.
Stay current on financial technology and drive process improvements.
Manage processing of auxiliary revenue:
Collaborate with Bookstore to ensure revenue is properly recorded, processed and maintained in the accounting systems.
Collaborate with different departments on campus to ensure their receipts of payments through credit cards, cash or other systems are processed accurately and recorded in Workday.(Dining, AIS, Athletics, etc.)
Collect, record and process rent revenue.
Additional responsibilities:
Coordinate with external collection agencies and record payments received.
Assist Controller and Assistant Treasurer with ad hoc projects.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
5 years Bookkeeping/Accounts Receivable experience preferred.

Job Summary | The Administrative Specialist works closely with the Department Head and Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to faculty, staff and students. The Administrative Specialist plans and organizes special events, manages the Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering (MANE) website and social media, provides support for the Invent@Rensselaer and other special programs, assists the department head with correspondence with donors and maintaining records, and provides support for the graduate programs. Job Summary | The Business Manager is responsible for managing the business operations of the Graduate Education portfolio, including finance, budgeting, grant administration, academic support, and policy interpretation. The Spanish and Hispanic Studies Department is seeking a Lecturer who specializes in Community-Based Pedagogies, preferably with expertise in U.S. Latino, Caribbean, Central American, or Mexican cultures. Candidates must hold a PhD in Spanish, Hispanic Studies, Latin American Studies, Latino Studies, or a related field. Candidates with PhD in hand will be prioritized. Candidates who will defend their dissertation by August 2026 will be considered. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish required. English language proficiency must be sufficient to communicate effectively with campus and community partners.
Lecturer positions are renewable with a contract period of three years. Opportunities for promotion to Senior Lecturer (with renewable five-year contracts) occur after six years. Teaching load is six courses per year along with co-curricular responsibilities and the expectation of student advising, College service, and departmental service including curricular development, student engagement, placement advising, and recruitment activities.
Strong Spanish language teaching skills and experience at all levels required. We seek candidates who also have ample experience teaching and designing courses with community-based components and/or collaborating with community partners. Ability to contribute courses to 250-299, 300, and 400 levels that complement our current offerings is a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise to develop courses in Spanish and English on U.S. Latino, Caribbean, Central American, or Mexican cultures. Candidates with experience teaching Heritage learners preferred.
Co-curricular responsibilities will focus on liaising with Community Engagement and Outreach, the Career Center, other academic departments, and local organizations and businesses to build and coordinate a consistent program of offerings and real-world, career-adjacent opportunities that connect students and the department’s curriculum to local Spanish-speaking communities. We will look for evidence of candidates' interest in and ability to engage students in learning outside the classroom, including but not limited to diverse approaches to experiential or applied learning opportunities. Candidates with experience that will prepare them to design and coordinate community engagement opportunities for the department will be prioritized.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $68,500-$70,500. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
