• Systems and Database Management: Acts as the primary point of contact for user inquiries related to database usage and third-party products. Conducts routine database maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting for technology issues, ensuring optimal system performance. Oversees data distribution for external purposes, such as reporting for Annual Giving and Major Gift peer groups. Works with stakeholders to assess reporting needs, develops reports and visualizations, and monitors adoption of reporting strategies.

• Collaboration and Staff Development: Contributes to team initiatives, projects, communications, and implementations, helping to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. Trains, mentors, and motivates AIS staff in utilizing new technologies and systems effectively. Leads application training and internal documentation development to support all College Relations personnel. Facilitates coordination with campus partners such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Finance, and Athletics to address data gaps and manage data requests effectively. Participates in execution of College Relations events and contributes to campus initiatives and priorities as opportunities arise.

• Innovation: Understands business needs and identifies creative solutions using appropriate technology and analytical skills. Drives continuous improvement initiatives, advocating for data-driven decision-making and change. Contributes to the development and execution of an annual strategic plan for Advancement Information Services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, information systems and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or 3-5 years work experience preferred.

• Detailed knowledge of best practices for advancement operations and development programs is preferred.

• Previous experience working in higher education is preferred.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $61,000-$70,000. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty and training. As a Director of Community Transition Time Program (CTTP), you will oversee a new model of care for youth to keep them out of unnecessary hospital settings. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team that provides services and support to adolescent youth and their families in the community and short-term residential settings. As a Clinician, you will coordinate client assessments and work with the child, family, legal guardian, law guardian, psychiatrist, nurse, psychologist, educators, child care staff, and other providers to prepare, implement and monitor a comprehensive, permanency-focused case plan for children in the Residential Program. Description

As a Clinician, you will coordinate client assessments and work with the child, family, legal guardian, law guardian, psychiatrist, nurse, psychologist, educators, child care staff, and other providers to prepare, implement and monitor a comprehensive, permanency-focused case plan for children in the Residential Program. You will report to the Director of the Residential Treatment Facility and will work on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, treatment planning and general counseling

• Required to provide 20-25 hours of individual, group, or family therapy per week.

• Conduct specialized risk assessments.

• Consult with other staff involved in the care of the child and families.

• Attend case related meetings.

• Participate in supervision.

• Have regular communication with birth families around progress/problems of children in care, how to support them and work towards permanency.

• Provide regular case documentation for all children and families on workload including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans.

Requirements and Education:

• Requires a Master’s degree; related experience preferred.

• RTF Clinician requires two years of related experience.

• Professional licensure:(LMSW with 3 years of experience, LMHC-D, LMFT,-D LCAT, LCSW) required

• Must pass physical.

• Must be able to complete TCI training.

Supervisor: Director of Special Events and Conferences

Position Purpose:Develops revenue streams by planning, organizing, and executing successful events, meetings, and conferences at Union College, with the greatest attention to outstanding customer service. Partners with the Director of Special Events and Conferences to market and sell the use of college facilities to generate budgeted revenue goals.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Event Planning: Manages work assignments for support service as it pertains to meetings and/or events (i.e. location, room set ups, food, transportation, audio visual arrangements), develops and cultivates working relationships with vendors to ensure customer satisfaction, manages room assignments through scheduling software, develops and manages summer program revenue, and supervises event activity (may require evening and weekend availability).

• Customer Service and Communication:Provides excellent customer service to clients, and event attendees, ensuring that they have a positive experience and their needs are met. Communicates event details to all stakeholders, including staff, vendors, and attendees, verifying that all parties have the necessary information.

• Relationship Building and Marketing: Maintains existing clients to increase repeat business opportunities. Cultivates new clients by marketing conference services to external organizations. Manages department web pages and social media presence. Develops responses to proposals and estimates and follows up appropriately on all proposals.

• Team Development, Innovation, & Supervision: Contributes ideas, input, and support to Union Special Events and Conference and other activities that impact the success of the department. Seeks out, applies, and shares knowledge of special events logistics, trends, and innovations.

• Administrative:Responsible for accounts payable for event vendors and accounts receivable for client invoices. Administers contract cycle (create, negotiate, approve, execute), develops program plans, monthly and quarterly reports and forecasts. Generates reports on profitability of potential events for discussion with the Director of Events and Central Scheduling. Offers to help colleagues during busy times and for overlapping responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event/business management, or a related field and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or 3-5 years of related work experience.

• Previous customer service experience, preferably in the events industry. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with varied constituencies.

• Ability to lift 30 pounds.

• Ability to move between buildings and walk for extended periods.

• Technically proficient and experienced in working with systems and applications. These include software platforms for scheduling, space planning and logistics through software tools.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.

• A general understanding of sound, lighting and video systems.

• Ability to travel may be required for trade shows, conferences, etc.

Head Women’s Flag Football Coach

Pay status and classification: Non-exempt, part-time. This is a 10-month position. (Average of 30 hours per week, 43 weeks per year, 700-800 hours annually).

Supervisor: Director of Athletics

Position Purpose: Responsible for assisting in the organization, development, and leadership of the newly established Women’s Flag Football program in support of the mission and core values of Union College.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Coaching and Leadership: Recruits and retains high achieving student-athletes. Builds relationships with players to provide mentorship, guidance, and support both on and off the field. Works to enhance the student-athlete experience through training, competition, and leadership development. Collaborates with the athletics trainer to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants.

• Program Oversight and Administration: Adheres to League rules and compliance. Manages the team budget including recruitment, equipment, travel, uniforms, and supplies. Oversees team travel arrangements and scheduling. Recruits, hires, and supervises assistant coaches.

• Team Development and Innovation: Contributes ideas, input, and support to the Union Athletics Department. Seeks out, applies, and shares knowledge of sport trends and innovations in playing and teaching.

• Collaboration and Fundraising: Partners with campus stakeholders, particularly College Relations, to coordinate fundraising and alumni outreach. Builds strong relationships with alumni, fans, campus partners and the broader community. Connects student-athletes with academic and professional resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience coaching football, or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. Master’s degree and playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred.

• Experience in leading, motivating and providing guidance to high achieving and competitive student-athletes.

• Experience in recruiting and successfully identifying talented prospective student-athletes who can thrive in a rigorous academic environment.

• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends is required.

Laboratory Technician

Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Regular full-time.

Supervisor: Chair/Associate Chair of the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering

Position Purpose: Technical support for the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering. Maintain and upgrade test equipment, computer hardware and software, and electronics supplies for classrooms and teaching laboratories. Assist students and faculty with projects involving electronics and computer components and maintain a safe working environment for project work.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain test equipment in department classrooms and teaching laboratories.

• Test equipment, includes: power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, soldering stations, and testing kits (multimeter and scope probes, cables, solderless breadboard).

• Maintain computers (both hardware and software) in department classrooms and teaching laboratories. Software responsibilities include software updates, licenses, imaging/memory management, and connectivity with test equipment.

• Maintain inventories of electrical and computer supplies. Electrical supplies include: resistors, capacitors, inductors, semiconductors, wire, breadboards, probe cables, and hand tools. Computer supplies include: USB cables, video cables, mice, and keyboards.

• Provide support for student capstone and student/faculty research projects. Support includes purchasing components, addressing questions related to stock electronic components, and providing assistance with test equipment.

• Ensure all safety standards and work practices (e.g. soldering) within the department classrooms are followed according to college policy and law. Assist in coordinating lab safety standards for ABET accreditation.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with electronic test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies.

• Proficiency in soldering and desoldering electronic components, as well as soldering safety protocols.

• Proficiency in computer maintenance and connectivity with laboratory instrumentation.

• Experience with supporting laboratory safety standards.

• Experience with the diagnosis and minor repair of electronic and computer equipment.

• Minimum of two years of vocational/technical school or equivalent knowledge in electrical and computer engineering.

• Experience with engineering software (e.g., circuit simulation and MATLAB) microcontrollers and embedded systems, and working in educational or research laboratory settings preferred.

We are currently recruiting for highly motivated per diem LPN’s to work in our residential program!We offer a positive, caring work environment with excellent pay and benefits!

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will coordinate appropriate medical care, dental care, and mental health services nursing care/services to a youth and adolescent population with emotional, behavioral and physical needs. You will ensure that medical treatment services meet the requirements of the regulating agency. You will report to a Registered Nurse and you will work onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Complete the nursing observations report findings to the registered nurse
• Review lab and test results, reporting critical values to RN and providers
• Medication management including ordering medications and obtaining prior authorizations
• Dispense medications
• Communicate with medical director/providers regarding observation in client’s health/behavior
• Provide client and family education regarding medications and treatments
• Collaborate with our staff regarding concerns and behaviors
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Medication Review meetings
• Nursing documentation using EHR
• Update discharge planning needs
• Other duties as assigned within scope of practice and based on agency needs

Requirements and Education:

• LPN Licensed in New York State
• 1 to 2 years of experience
• CPR Certification
