Position Title: Learning Environments Services Coordinator
Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Regular Full-time
Supervisor: Manager of Learning Environments and Event Support
Position Purpose:
To provide day-to-day coordination of learning environment services and to provide Tier 2 support of technologies within electronic classrooms and other Union facilities as well as audio-visual (A/V) support for academic classes and special events. This position provides a wide range of services and support needs for the campus community.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide Tier I & Tier II support for campus-wide sound and video projection systems, electronic classrooms, and other facilities; train faculty/staff who need to use facilities; perform basic computer troubleshooting; reinstall operating systems and applications; set up computers in classrooms and labs.
Manage all Work Study student processes to include hiring, scheduling, and training. Also, regularly update Work Study student programming.
Serves as point of contact and follows all procedures for event needs and scheduling. Work with the Office of Special Events and Conferences to provide A/V equipment and planning for special events; also support work with outside vendors to provide services for campus special events.
Manage the general maintenance, documentation, and regular inspection of electronic classrooms and other facilities.
Coordinate delivery, setup, operation and retrieval of equipment for various locations on campus.
Maintain inventory and organization of all A/V, computer equipment and peripherals, including a hardware database and asset management.
Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, generating reports, meeting and greeting campus personnel.
Assist with training and successful execution of video/web conferences.
Support with developing working relationships with outside vendors and service providers and provide assistance when they are on campus, as needed.
Continually research and monitor A/V equipment needs across the Union College campus; advise Manager of Learning Environments & Event Support of needed upgrades and equipment as they arise.
Digital media management and distribution, including audio and video recording for events and speakers, dubbing, editing, and posting online.
Assist with audio and video recording of live events, with a knowledge of video editing software applications.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Applied Sciences, Computer Information Systems, Communications, or Audio Production Technologies preferred and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience.
A minimum of 1 year hands-on experience with audio, video and projection systems; 2+ years preferred.
Knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems; some understanding of networks and printers.
Proficiency with A/V and associated equipment, such as Crestron control systems.
Experience with and knowledge of sound, lighting and video systems.
Work effectively in a service-oriented environment with a variety of people and disciplines in order to respond to help requests and escalate complex issues to a higher level position as needed.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software systems to identify and resolve problems, restore service, and/or assure system integrity.
Highly detail oriented, with a critical degree of accuracy to coordinate, prioritize, and complete multiple time-critical tasks to meet classroom and special event needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills; ability to work independently and with others.
Must be safety conscious and able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
Compensation:
The rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. As a Children's Health Home Care Manager, you will engage youth and families through outreach activities until enrollment into the Children's Health Home program. You will coordinate and monitor subsequent services to meet the needs of your members. You will report to a program supervisor, working in a hybrid model. Work will involve a combination of remote, office, and community-based settings. Local travel and personal transportation is required.
Responsibilities:
- Level I - Provides care management services to children with low and medium acuities. Care Manager will provide the required one or two services each month based on acuity and need. One of these contacts is to be in-person with the member.
- Level II - Provides care management services to low, medium, and high acuity members. Care Manager will provide a minimum of two services each month, one of which is to be in person with the member.
- Engage children, youth, and families with outreach and enrollment activities for successful enrollment into a children's health home

As the Assistant Director of Crisis Residence, you will be responsible for providing support and direction to staff and oversee the day to day operations on site. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Documentation and Compliance: Issues immigration documents and processes applications through the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). The Head of Resource Management provides leadership and management for the acquisitions of all materials, including providing access to holdings via the library’s discovery tools and knowledge base. They develop and manage the acquisitions budget in consultation and collaboration with the College Librarian and the Head of Collection Development, and they supervise acquisitions, continuations, and finance staff in the Resource Management unit. The primary function of the Military and Veteran Partnership Specialist position is to ensure a robust pipeline of prospective students by enhancing awareness of Excelsior University among local military installations, surrounding communities and veteran partners. Job Summary | The Laboratory Manager will direct daily operations of the Center for Environmental Stable Isotope Analysis (CESIA) research laboratory facilities. The Laboratory Manager will supervise and instruct users in the operation of equipment used to conduct research, and provide analytical services for external users. The Laboratory Manager will research and implement upgrades to laboratory systems consistent with contemporary research standards and maintain applicable systems and document maintenance of the systems. The Laboratory Manager will assist in developing new analytical methods and applications and analyzing specific sample sets as needed. The Laboratory Manager will provide technical guidance and research to support the facilities’ core faculty, students and other researchers and will serve as laboratory safety officer and liaison to Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S). |

Clinician, School Based - Days
MSW/MHC's with Limited Permit are eligible for $2500 signing bonus!
Licensed Social Workers are eligible for $7500 signing bonus!
As a Clinician, you will work collaboratively with the school district and as part of an interdisciplinary team with identified students, by providing clinical counseling to the youth and their family in an outpatient mental health clinic, licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), imbedded within the School Building. You will report to the Director of the Behavioral Health Center and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the school district to identify and treat a caseload of students with mental health needs providing a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and individual and family therapy services to those assigned to caseload.
- Create initial treatment plans, subsequent treatment plan reviews, progress notes for each scheduled appointment, and other documentation and assessments as indicated.
- Collaborate with the associated clinic prescriber, other medical and mental health providers, school staff and any other community supports for client care.
- Attend school-based Behavioral Health Center staff meeting once a month.
- Attend and participate in supervision; weekly, bi-weekly or monthly based on licensure level or individual needs.
- Provide referrals and linkages to community supports, resources, and services.
Requirements and Education:
- Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counselor.
- Experience in human services, case management, line staff at a residential program, or any other related direct care within human services, both pre and post master degree, will be considered.
- License and/or Limited Permit eligible, have a limited permit in discipline or Fully Licensed (LMHC/LCSW/LCSW-R), preferred.
- Good standing with the NYS Office of the Professions.
- NYS Drivers License in good standing
