Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact, by phone, email, or in person to answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, and queries about HR-related questions and matters of program interpretation for all employees.
- Advise and inform employees of the details of all benefit programs.
- Support benefit program administration from enrollment to termination by processing eligibility data, reconciling payroll deduction, and maintaining and updating HRIS systems as necessary.
- Prepare necessary reports as requested i.e. weekly, monthly, or annually.
- Coordinate tracking and payments related to employee’s eligibility for DBL, PFL, FMLA, LTD, and Workers Compensation.
- Coordinate the open enrollment process for all eligible employees.
- Assist with leave of absence administration and tracking for all leave types.
- Maintain working knowledge of ACA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, and Internal Revenue Code within the privacy considerations of HIPAA and impact of state and local laws
- Coordinate and schedule benefit information programs for all new employees,
- Share in responsibility for general HR filing and supporting audits.
Requirements and Education:
- A High School degree or GED and at least six years of applicable experience; an Associate’s degree with four years of applicable experience is preferred.

Position Summary:
The Recruitment Specialist in the Human Resources department is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent for faculty, staff, and administrative positions at Union College. This role involves collaborating with supervisors, managing the full-cycle recruitment process, and promoting the college as an employer of choice. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Job Posting and Advertising: Write and post job descriptions on appropriate job boards, social media platforms, and other channels to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
Candidate Sourcing:Proactively source candidates through various channels, including networking, employee referrals, social media, job fairs, and industry events.

Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
Experience:Preferred 2-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in higher education or a similar environment.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (Workday) and HRIS.
Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform recruitment strategies.

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $69,000.00. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Home Based Crisis Intervention Specialist
As a Home Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) Specialist, you will support families and youth in crisis by providing in-home services. Responsibilities:
- Respond to the needs of families in crisis and deliver crisis intervention services in home-based environment with flexible scheduling.

- Tailor services and flexibly schedule sessions based on family member’s needs.
