Description
As an Early Head Start Teacher Aide-substitute , you will work with Teachers in the management of Early Head Start classrooms by providing quality infant-toddler care in accordance with Agency philosophy, program performance standards and curriculum guidelines. You will report to an Early Head Start Enrollment Specialist & Supervising Teacher and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Use daily routines and observations to meet the strengths and needs of children.
- Work as a team member to facilitate the programs curriculum, procedures and philosophy.
- Help establish a safe environment and a positive emotional tone that is supportive of the individual childs feelings by interacting with them in a supportive way.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere to encourage and facilitate ongoing parent participation and involvement.
- Participate in staff training according to program staff training plan and policies.
- Report any suspected injuries immediately to classroom staff.
- Interact positively with and provide choices to children throughout the day.
- Assist in classroom cleanup and follow universal precautions daily.
- Assist children in safely exiting from Center during fire drills and any hazardous situations.
- Adhere to agency and program standards regarding child and families confidentiality and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Requirements and Education:
- High school diploma
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill with infants and toddlers preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more.

Description
As a Peer Support Specialist, you will be a member of the Mobile Team, assisting the clinicians on Mobile visits and providing support and advocacy to individuals in crisis. You will also be a resource to the clinicians and case manager, through sharing their knowledge of common challenges individuals with SPMI endure and sharing knowledge about community resources. You will be an individual (adult) with lived experience with mental illness. You will report to the Clinical Site Supervisor and you will work on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with service providers involved with individuals with SPMI.
- Provide information and peer to peer support to individuals who are served by the program.
- Educate and empower clients and their supports regarding their roles in developing crisis plans and in crisis prevention.
- Educate service providers regarding an individual's role in developing a crisis plan for themselves and in crisis prevention. Ensure that the individual is an integral part of the crisis planning process.
- Inform service providers (including Mobile Crisis and PCFC providers) regarding person- centered and strength-based practices. Maintain and model a focus on strengths.
- Utilize clinicians and clinical supervisor for advocacy for individuals served.
- Ensure that clients are satisfied with the services they are receiving and, if not, help them advocate for what they need.
- Educate individuals and primary caretakers on how to advocate if services are not meeting their needs.
- Be the liaison to other local supports in the community.
- Link individuals to Peer Support Services activities such as support groups, social events, newsletter.

Position Purpose: Assist with managing library materials in collection and with digital projects
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participate in special projects pertaining to the CDLS department.
- Independently scan historical and contemporary material using an overhead and flatbed scanner.
- Assist the Digital Projects and Metadata Librarian, Digital Collections and Preservation Librarian, and Metadata Specialist with image capture, quality assurance, and spreadsheet work as necessary.
- Process all designated cataloged material that is received, in a variety of formats and languages, according to departmental instructions.
- Review records and spreadsheets for quality assurance benchmarks.
- Comply with CDLS policies and procedures, including a commitment to a set work schedule for the term and notify supervisors in advance of any scheduling changes.
Qualifications:
- Highly detail oriented.
- Ability to work well independently and follow detailed written instructions.
- Moderate to high comfort levels with technology, file management, and software like Excel, Google Sheets, or Photoshop desirable.
- Ability to push a cart of books or lift up to 50 pound.
- Ability to handle rare and fragile material with care.

Compensation
The rate for this position is $15.00 per hour. Job Summary | The Administrative Specialist serves as the primary point of contact in the Office of the President for visitors and callers and is responsible for ensuring that all parties receive prompt, professional and courteous attention when contacting the President’s Office. Minimum Qualifications | Postdoctoral Research Associate positions require that the candidate have finished all requirements for their PhD at the beginning of their appointment. Additional opportunities as a Research Associate or Research Scientist exist for those with a relevant advanced degree, publication record, and/or significant additional years of paid professional experience in a related position. Individuals who possess these qualifications and who have the potential to, or a demonstrated track record of being able to build collaborative external partnerships are especially desirable. Positions on the Research Specialist track require a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. For research support positions, candidates must possess an associate's degree or relevant combination of experience, education and training. | |
