Job Summary | The Clinical Case Manager is part of the multidisciplinary, integrated Rensselaer Student Health team of committed professionals dedicated to supporting and promoting student health and wellbeing as an Institute-wide priority. Position Purpose: Assist with managing library materials in collection and with digital projects
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participate in special projects pertaining to the CDLS department.
- Independently scan historical and contemporary material using an overhead and flatbed scanner.
- Assist the Digital Projects and Metadata Librarian, Digital Collections and Preservation Librarian, and Metadata Specialist with image capture, quality assurance, and spreadsheet work as necessary.
- Process all designated cataloged material that is received, in a variety of formats and languages, according to departmental instructions.
- Review records and spreadsheets for quality assurance benchmarks.
- Comply with CDLS policies and procedures, including a commitment to a set work schedule for the term and notify supervisors in advance of any scheduling changes.
Qualifications:
- Highly detail oriented.
- Ability to work well independently and follow detailed written instructions.
- Moderate to high comfort levels with technology, file management, and software like Excel, Google Sheets, or Photoshop desirable.
- Ability to push a cart of books or lift up to 50 pound.
- Ability to handle rare and fragile material with care.

Compensation
The rate for this position is $15.00 per hour. Job Summary | The Software Engineer will serve as the focal point of all software related issues of the PERFORM Project Team. The Software Engineer will organize and maintain software infrastructure of the Project Team, and contribute to the proposal, planning and execution of team-based industrial applied research projects. Project execution will involve development of original software and utilization of commercial software packages. The Software Engineer will require interaction with multiple Project Team stakeholders, including industrial clients, faculty, staff, and students. |

Supervisor: Transportation Manager
Position Purpose: Provides transportation of Union College students, staff and community members to and from College approved locations following safety protocols.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Safety Compliance: Conducts pre-trip inspections of equipment before each designated route. Reports concerns regarding vehicle safety, road hazards, and safety for the community being served i.e. road hazards, sick or intoxicated students to the immediate supervisor from Campus Safety. Complies with random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Trip Management and Reporting: Provides trip information to the dispatcher before each trip. Maintains scheduled times and locations for the 'Trolley Service.' Reports all incidents, whether minor or major, to the immediate supervisor from Campus Safety.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of transportation driving experience.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and ability to exercise exceptional judgment and demonstrate outstanding professionalism in a range of situations.
- Demonstrated commitment to following safety procedures.
- The ability to foster and enhance a thriving, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, alumni, faculty, and staff colleagues.
- Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of constituencies served e.g., students, faculty, alumni, supervisees, and colleagues.
The expected rate for this position is $15.00 per hour. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
