Job Summary | The Dean of Students, reporting to the Vice Provost for Student Experience, ensures a dynamic living and learning environment that contributes to students’ intellectual agility, multicultural sophistication, and global view. They manage policies, procedures, and support services to enhance students’ academic, personal, and professional development, campus and community affinity, overall well-being, and safety. They direct staff in overseeing programs, functions, events, and activities related to the student experience. The Dean of Students serves as a liaison to academic and administrative departments regarding student conduct, rights, and responsibilities. Position Summary
Provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to Agency and other governing bodies (LDSS, OCFS, CSE, etc.) standards and requirements for adolescent clients who are emotionally disturbed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the physical order of the building and therapeutic environment of the units.
- Develop and maintain schedules within the assigned campus residential unit, ensuring that there is adequate staff to meet regulatory requirements and safety requirements.
- Responsible to ensure that youth in our care are being supervised according to regulatory and programmatic standards.
- Design, implement and supervise program activity which will lead to the attainment of goals described within treatment plans.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of residential staff assigned to residential programs.

- Conduct residential staff meetings.
- Participate in the evaluation of youth referred to the Agency for residential care.
- Conduct the financial activity of the residential unit in accordance with guidelines established by the Residential Program Manager and the Director.
- Responsible for managing program funds, purchasing food, clothing, household supplies, managing youth allowances
- Participate/organize program and agency wide special events and services.
- Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food (cooking when necessary), medical care, a reliable and nurturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications | Applicants must possess an MFA, PhD, or foreign equivalent in Game Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Evidence of effective teaching, and the ability to demonstrate, through accomplishment, promise of academic, scholarly and/or research achievement. They will demonstrate proficiency in one or more game engines, along with a robust background in project management and production processes within the gaming industry. Additionally, candidates must exhibit a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. For appointment at the rank of Senior Lecturer, candidates must also have attained a significant level of scholarly activity, research output, or individual creative practice. A Professor of Practice has obtained unique professional experience, has distinguished research, and/or has performed at an executive or officer level, and has made a significant impact within the field of games.
