Job Summary | The Lead Business Administrator will oversee assigned business functions in the School of Engineering. The Lead Business Administrator will be responsible for overseeing financial management of research in the portfolio including building processes and tools to assist faculty and portfolio leadership with planning and forecasting. The Administrator will be responsible for following Institute and sponsor guidelines for spending and budgeting, as well as responsible for preparing complex financial forecasts and reports. The Administrator is also responsible for providing analysis and forecasts for assigned business units, for monitoring education & general, designated, and restricted funds, and for preparation of other specific information, analyses, and reports as required by portfolio leadership and faculty investigators. |

Job Summary | The International Exchange Visitor Specialist provides immigration advising and assistance for all J-1 visa holding visiting scholars and their dependents. The Specialist assists the Director with institutional compliance as related to the Exchange Visitors; including, reporting and monitoring data in the Student and Immigration Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and in Terra Dotta software. The Specialist is the point person for academic departments requesting visiting scholars and export control, in order to facilitate and streamline the processes for hosting international scholars. The Specialist provides regular information sessions for departments as well as assisting in the development of cultural programming as required by the US Department of State. |

Job Summary | Reporting to the Director of Environmental and Site Services, the Associate Director, Site Services is responsible for day-to-day management, productivity, and accountability of all staff within Landscape, Athletic Fields, Garage Moving, and Recycling/Waste removal. The Associate Director is responsible for assisting the Director with short and long term performance planning and metrics, personnel management, policy development, budget development and execution, and major capital project support. Other responsibilities include management of landscape and grounds assessment programs and staff training, development. Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food, cooking, medical care, and providing a reliable and nurturing environment.
- You will follow an individual youth’s 1:1 expectations plan, ICMP, and any safety plans in place.
- Engage the youth in activities and conversation that are age appropriate and at the appropriate developmental level.
- Document in writing a summary of each shift.
- Learn the history and specific issues associated with the youth who requires 1:1; will learn how to safely manage any crisis.
- Transport 1:1 client for medical, mental health, and other essential needs.

- You will must be able to work within trauma informed framework of program, including identifying and using coping/safety plans, maintaining consistency, providing regular routine, and controlling own response to youth.
- Engage and form positive relationship with all youth served.
- Complete all mandatory trainings according to programmatic guidelines.

Responsibilities:
1:1 Residential Counselor
Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food, cooking, medical care, and providing a reliable and nurturing environment.
- You will follow an individual youth’s 1:1 expectations plan, ICMP, and any safety plans in place.
- Engage the youth in activities and conversation that are age appropriate and at the appropriate developmental level.
- Document in writing a summary of each shift.
- Learn the history and specific issues associated with the youth who requires 1:1; will learn how to safely manage any crisis.
- Transport 1:1 client for medical, mental health, and other essential needs.
RC1
- You will must be able to work within trauma informed framework of program, including identifying and using coping/safety plans, maintaining consistency, providing regular routine, and controlling own response to youth.
- Engage and form positive relationship with all youth served.
- Complete all mandatory trainings according to programmatic guidelines.
- Display basic competency in TCI techniques.
- Follow outlined program routines, therapeutic plans of youth, and program rules and protocols.
- Work as part of a team including colleague residential counselors, clinicians, on line oncall, supervisors, and other administrative and functional support staff.
- Maintain respectful and appropriate communication with internal and external customers, including county workers, medical staff, parents etc.
- Complete and maintain documentation to meet programmatic and regulatory standards.
- Transport clients for medical, mental health, and other essential needs.
RC2
All of the above plus the following:
- You will facilitate groups/coached visitation, understanding and applying curriculum and appropriate practice models, i.e. DBT, SAY, etc.
- Take on specific leadership responsibilities for dorm/cottage, including coordinating activities, participating in program-wide committee.
- Must have the ability, skill, and knowledge to take a lead role in a team.
- Form positive relationships with more challenging youth and families.
RC3
All of the above plus the following:
- Display critical thinking and problem solving skills related to residential program needs.
- Display good judgment and decision making related to all program routines, therapeutic plans of youth, and program rules and protocols.
- Lead, delegate, and plan work for other team members.
Requirements and Education:
- HS Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience working with emotionally disturbed population.
- NYS drivers license with less than 6 points on license.
- Must pass the required physical.
- Must be able to complete TCI training.

Description
As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and governing bodies' (DSS, OMH, JCAHO, etc.) requirements for elementary aged children.. You will work on-site on our Albany campus and will report to the Residential Supervisor.
