Description
As a Teacher in Training, you will be responsible for development of classroom instructional plans for students and support student's success in academic and behavioral goals. You will report to the Principal and work on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a classroom instructional plan based on a students IEP and grade and subject area curricula; work with content area teachers to ensure that their lessons are differentiated as to meet the needs of all students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for all students on their caseload. Ensure that accommodations and modifications are provided. Provide specially designed instruction and monitor student progress toward academic and behavioral goals. Complete progress reports and IEP updates, and participate in CSE meetings as scheduled.
- Develop and coordinate the implementation of individual and classroom behavior plans for managing student behavior to maintain discipline in the classroom; oversee the collecting of behavior data; assist classroom staff with crisis prevention and intervention techniques; assist classroom staff with de-escalation techniques; teach students appropriate behavior strategies.
- Manage and model the implementation of classroom PBIS universal components and Tier 2 and 3 strategies for selected students.
- Schedule and oversee teacher assistants as they assist students in multiple non-instructional environments.
- Provide leadership to assigned teacher assistants in the various clerical and non-instructional duties for your classroom.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, clinicians, administrators, medical staff and other school staff to provide integrated support, assistance, and treatment to students.
Requirements and Education:
- Bachelor's degree and/or New York State Certification as a Teacher Assistant.
- 2 years experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Certification/Licensure in progress for a Special Education Teacher.

Job Summary | The Procurement Agent is responsible for ensuring that supplier data is accurate, up to date, and in compliance with Institute policies. The Agent assists with evaluating and negotiating small dollar procurements, consistent with Rensselaer policies. Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Procurement, the Agent works closely with E-Business prioritizing master agreements, supplier enablement, and other contract opportunities. Position Purpose:
Plays a pivotal role in advancing fundraising endeavors at Union College by engaging in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors capable of making significant financial contributions ranging from $20,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 to bolster the institution's mission and strategic objectives.

- Relationship Management: Proactively establishes opportunities for face-to-face interactions to cultivate, solicit, and steward a designated portfolio of 100-150 current and prospective donors, adhering to industry best practices. Develops detailed cultivation and solicitation plans annually for the top 25-50 donor prospects, incorporating opportunities for current use pledges and planned giving to drive philanthropic engagement. Compensation
Major Gifts Officer: The annual salary range for the Major Gifts Officer is $70,000.00-$80,000.00.
Senior Major Gifts Officer: The annual salary range for the Senior Major Gifts Officer is $93,000.00-$97,000.00.
Depending on the candidate's experience, candidates may be considered for either the Major Gifts Officer or Senior Major Gifts Officer position.
Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. As a Case Manager, Regional Permanency Resource Center you will provide supportive services and case management services to adoptive, guardianship and kinship families so they are able to make informed decisions with regards to services and supports that best meet their needs. You will report to the Case Manager Supervisor. You will work in a hybrid environment with some travel to client's homes in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a systems navigator to families who have adopted or who have children in guardianship or kinship care through the provision of case management.
- Meet with families in their home to assess needs
- Assess needs, conduct service planning, service plan implementation, service coordination, monitoring and follow-up, reassessment and review with the family via in-home or community monthly visits. Services include but are not limited to information and referral services; referral to legal services; attendance at family court dates; transportation; housing assistance; childcare; basic family needs (vital needs in emergencies and with expenses that are unforeseen); educational advocacy services; and facilitating appointments with social services, medical health providers, and mental health services.
- Respond to the request for in home support referrals for resources and services

Per Diem (As Needed) Shift
As a Respite Worker for the Permanency Resource Center, you will provide respite services to youth in adoptive, guardianship and kinship families. Respite may also be available to families as part of the service plan and can occur at parent support groups or other PRC events and will be designed to be consistent with the children's needs and interests. Outings or activities with individual youth will be coordinated with the supervisor and parent. Respite provided as part of a group activity at a support group will be designed to allow parents the opportunity to have time separate from their children while they attend a support group. You will report to the Case Manager Supervisor or designated supervisor at the event. You will work onsite with youth in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision for youth while parents attend support group.
- Provide respite as assigned to a youth as part of their service plan which can include activities in the community or in the youth’s home if that is the agreed upon plan.

The primary duties of the Night Shift Supervisor will strive to achieve the production and
distribution objectives of the company using supervisory methods and coaching techniques. Is
responsible for warehouse training, developing warehouse personnel to ensure accurate, on
time, and damage free movement of product shipped out of the warehouse. Will help build a
team environment of well-trained employees. Employ excellent communication skills to facilitate
completion of night shift job duties. Follow and promote the accepted safety practices to
maintain a safe working environment. Emphasis will be placed on proper truck loading and
breakage and damaged product control ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Position will also learn the processes and serve as a back up to the night managers in the areas
of shift production set up; understanding how to and executing on waving, label creation, job
assignment, invoicing, and other administrative tasks as needed to ensure successful night shift
work completion in the absence of the night shift Manager.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS
• Must be able to multi-task and stay on top of highly complex processes with a large
amount of data.
• Must be able to maintain composure and stay focused in times of stress.
• Must be able to recognize problems at an early stage and be able to communicate and
trouble shoot to resolve the problems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises members of the night warehouse team. Works closely with Management to direct the
workflow in an efficient and professional manner. Is responsible for providing effective
leadership while fostering a positive team environment and providing overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of the department. Performs supervisory responsibilities in
accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are
not limited to training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; recognizing,
rewarding, and coaching; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

• Hourly Rate $28.85 per hour / Full time / Monday - Thursday

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certifications and/or licenses
EXPERIENCE:
-High School Diploma or equivalent, college preferred.
-At least 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
-Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer systems.
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals.
-Must be a results oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication
skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills.
-Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pays attention to detail and
meets deadlines.
