Job Summary | As the Workforce Development Coordinator for the NORDTECH Hub, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing workforce development activities within the NORDTECH community and the broader Capital and Upstate New York regions. Your role will involve working with NORDTECH members from industry, academia, and government. You will be the primary point of contact for universities, semiconductor manufacturing companies, government agencies, research laboratories, and other industry partners, and will be collaborating to develop strategic plans and best practices for securing additional external funding for education and workforce development initiatives. In this position, you will work closely with the NORDTECH leadership team and the workforce advisory committee to ensure program objectives and key performance indicators are met. You will also collaborate with Hub partners to foster diversity and inclusion within NORDTECH workforce development programs, aiming to create a more diverse workforce. This role offers opportunities to travel to NORDTECH member locations and Microelectronics Commons program events to participate in workforce development activities, attend events, and build relationships. |

Job Summary | The NORDTECH Hub has a collection of distributed tooling and process capabilities provided by NORDTECH prototyping and core facilities. As the Facility Coordinator for the NORDTECH Hub, you coordinate facility activities within the NORDTECH community, and develop and maintain detailed knowledge of all capabilities at the prototyping and core facility sites in order to serve as a Hub subject matter expert. The Facilities Coordinator will coordinate the work plans between facilities while monitoring the progress of the projects. In addition, the coordinator works closely with the NORDTECH leadership team and facility advising committee to create a comprehensive description of the facility capabilities and define best practices for transition through and across facilities. The coordinator will be responsible for updating metrics on NORDTECH-resourced facility capabilities, status, and access processes for NORDTECH projects and making this data available to NORDTECH members. |

Job Summary | The Manager of Advancement Communications reports to the Director of Advancement Communications and Donor Impact and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day marketing and communications activity within Institute Advancement, providing communications support and management for planned giving, annual giving, regional and constituent development, alumni engagement (including the RAA as needed), and events. The Manager works closely with the Director on all stewardship initiatives to ensure alignment on messaging, brand enforcement, and strategy within Advancement Communications and Donor Impact, IA, and the Institute. The Manager will coordinate with all Advancement Communications and Donor Impact staff to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and integration of communication across all programs, and supports Institute Advancement’s fundraising, participation, and engagement goals through effective marketing, communications, and brand management in alignment with the Office of Community Engagement and Communications (OCEC). Description
As a Part-Time Case Manager, Regional Permanency Resource Center you will provide supportive services and case management services to adoptive, guardianship and kinship families so they are able to make informed decisions with regards to services and supports that best meet their needs. You will report to the Case Manager Supervisor. You will work in a hybrid environment with some travel to client's homes in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a systems navigator to families who have adopted or who have children in guardianship or kinship care through the provision ofcase management.
- Meet with families in their home to assess needs
- Assess needs, conduct service planning, service plan implementation, service coordination, monitoring and follow-up, reassessment and review with the family via in-home or community monthly visits. Services include but are not limited to information and referral services; referral to legal services; attendance at family court dates; transportation; housing assistance; childcare; basic family needs (vital needs in emergencies and with expenses that are unforeseen); educational advocacy services; and facilitating appointments with social services, medical health providers, and mental health services.
- Respond to the request for in home support referrals for resources and services
- Provide crisis intervention supports when needed
- Work with family to access needed respite services
- Conduct follow up contacts with families at prescribed intervals
- Participate in family engagement activities
- Co-lead support groups
- Participate in training programs offered by the program as assigned
- Use lived experience to empathize and provide hope. Preference for someone with experience with kinship, adoption or guardianship as a youth or in a parenting role.
- Maintain records including required data collection information according to the program standards and expectations. Case Managers must maintain Evolv record with progress notes and all pertinent documentation, a discharge summary and post-case closure documentation.
- Participate as a trainer in programs in the community, to increase understanding of the needs of families who have adopted or have children in guardianship or kinship care
- Complete risk assessments as required by Northern Rivers Quality Management Department
Requirements and Education:
- Bachelor’s level degree in social work, psychology, or human services, or a bachelor’s level degree in any field with at least two years of case management experience; or an associate’s level degree in psychology or human services with at least two years of case management experience.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and develop positive working relationships
- A valid NYS drivers license

Supervisor: Director Of Special Collections & Archives/Associate Librarian
Position Purpose: Evaluates, appraises, describes, and preserves the College’s records and archives, including institutional records. The Records Management Librarian will manage and implement policies and procedures to ensure a standard, professional approach in preparing archival collections for research use and preservation storage. Updates and maintains compliance of the records management program for the College following legal and security requirements. Collaborates with colleagues both within the department and library and across campus. The successful candidate is expected to pursue a focused program of professional development, scholarly activity, and service as described in the Union College Faculty Manual Section II. VI and Appendix VI.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Records Management: Coordinates institutional records management frameworks. Updates and maintains workflows for processing born-digital records. Manages physical and/or electronic transfer and description of incoming college records. Evaluates records from across campus for inclusion into the College's historic record.
Archival Collection Management: Evaluates, appraises, and describes archival and manuscript collections. Manages departmental best practices for accessioning and describing archival collections. Assists with the planning and implementation of library's archival services.
Recordkeeping and Metadata Management: Works closely with administrative departments and offices to ensure recordkeeping and metadata best practices. Utilizes Describing Archives: A Content Standard (DACS) and maintains documentation. Collaborates with Digital Collections and Preservation Librarian and the Digital Projects and Metadata Librarian to ensure consistency in digital preservation and access of archival collections.
Professional Development and Campus Engagement: Stays current with archival trends through literature, social media, conferences, and professional development. Contributes to campus committees and attends campus events to support the library's mission. Pursues a program of professional development, scholarly activity, and service. May supervise student employees and interns. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited program with a minimum of two years professional experience in archives or records management and special collections or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and work experience.
Experience with college-wide records management programs, inclusive of physical and digital collections.
Experience in a special collections and archives setting with focus on accessioning, appraising, arranging, describing, and preserving archival collections and preparing finding aids of varying size and complexity.
Experience with digital preservation frameworks and archival collection management systems (eg ArchivesSpace and Preservica).
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, current practices, and standards for processing and management of archival collections (Describing Archives a Content Standard (DACS), Encoded Archival Description (EAD), etc).
Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail.
Proven understanding of how digital preservation technologies work with analog services and resources.
