As a Digital Marketing and Multimedia Content Specialist, you will create impactful multimedia content that amplifies our mission and engages diverse audiences across digital platforms. We're looking for a creative thinker with strong technical skills and a passion for storytelling to drive our marketing efforts. You will report to the Marketing Manager and will work in a hybrid model.
Responsibilities:
- Create and publish eye-catching content for use on social media platforms, our website, and traditional media
- Use content creation tools such as the Adobe Create Suite and Canva to create original and engaging content.
- Work with the Advancement Team to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive web traffic, and support fundraising initiatives.
- Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos at events, programs, and other initiatives.
- Write clear and compelling copy for multimedia content, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice.
- Collaborate on email marketing campaigns, designing visually appealing layouts and content.
- Manage and organize our multimedia content library, ensuring easy access and proper documentation of assets.
- Create and pitch new content ideas aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with internal staff to align content strategies with organizational objectives.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in multimedia content creation and storytelling.
Requirements and Education:
- An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in social media management, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement across major platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools to monitor performance metrics.
- Experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred.
- You will be asked to provide examples of proficiency in graphic design, video editing, photography, and writing skills.

As a Youth Peer Advocate, you will be an ally, mentor, and advocate for clients and families as they contend with the difficulties and uncertainties of mental illness. You will use lived experience to contribute to treatment planning for each participant, and facilitating the team’s development and maintenance of a culture of respect. The Youth Assertive Community Treatment team (ACT) Program is an innovative treatment program. The program serves children with mental illness or serious emotional disturbance and their families. You will report to the Director of Youth Act and work onsite with community-based travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Engage individuals and establish trusting, collaborative relationships directed toward the goals clients identify on their treatment plans
- Contribute to client treatment plans, advocating for clients' needs
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings and work directly with other team members to provide support and assistance to program participants.
- Provide individual face-to-face support to youth and families receiving services
- Spend 70% or more of scheduled work hours in community settings
- Meet with family, youth, and collateral contacts to provide psychoeducation about serious mental illness
- Be a role model, educate recipients about self-help techniques and self-help group processes, teach effective coping strategies based on personal experience, teach symptom management skills, assist in clarifying rehabilitation and recovery goals, and assist in the development of community support systems and networks.
Requirements and Education:
- High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred
- A valid New York State driver’s license.
- Complete and obtain the NYCPS-Provisional certification for review by the New York Peer Specialist Certification Board (NYPSCB) within the agreed-upon time of start date.

As an Early Head Start Teacher Aide-substitute , you will work with Teachers in the management of Early Head Start classrooms by providing quality infant-toddler care in accordance with Agency philosophy, program performance standards and curriculum guidelines. You will report to an Early Head Start Enrollment Specialist & Supervising Teacher and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Use daily routines and observations to meet the strengths and needs of children.
- Work as a team member to facilitate the programs curriculum, procedures and philosophy.
- Help establish a safe environment and a positive emotional tone that is supportive of the individual childs feelings by interacting with them in a supportive way.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere to encourage and facilitate ongoing parent participation and involvement.
- Participate in staff training according to program staff training plan and policies.
- Report any suspected injuries immediately to classroom staff.
- Interact positively with and provide choices to children throughout the day.
- Assist in classroom cleanup and follow universal precautions daily.
- Assist children in safely exiting from Center during fire drills and any hazardous situations.
- Adhere to agency and program standards regarding child and families confidentiality and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Requirements and Education:
- High school diploma
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill with infants and toddlers preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more.
- Must be available between 7am and 5 pm
