Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Safety and Security Patrol: Patrols campus premises on foot or vehicle to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Identifies and responds to potential security threats, suspicious activities, and safety hazards. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a related field, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, or work experience.
Associate’s degree in a related field of study may be substituted for work experience.
Valid NYS drivers license.
Current New York State Security Guard registration certification required.

As a Service Navigator, you will provide individual mentoring, holistic service planning, and coordinated case management, and complete any necessary referrals/linkages to services. Event Development Coordinator
Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Regular full-time
Supervisor: Director of Special Events and Conferences
Position Purpose:Develops revenue streams by planning, organizing, and executing successful events, meetings, and conferences at Union College, with the greatest attention to outstanding customer service. Partners with the Director of Special Events and Conferences to market and sell the use of college facilities to generate budgeted revenue goals.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Event Planning: Manages work assignments for support service as it pertains to meetings and/or events (i.e. location, room set ups, food, transportation, audio visual arrangements), develops and cultivates working relationships with vendors to ensure customer satisfaction, manages room assignments through scheduling software, develops and manages summer program revenue, and supervises event activity (may require evening and weekend availability).
Customer Service and Communication:Provides excellent customer service to clients, and event attendees, ensuring that they have a positive experience and their needs are met. Communicates event details to all stakeholders, including staff, vendors, and attendees, verifying that all parties have the necessary information.
Relationship Building and Marketing: Maintains existing clients to increase repeat business opportunities. Cultivates new clients by marketing conference services to external organizations. Manages department web pages and social media presence. Develops responses to proposals and estimates and follows up appropriately on all proposals.
Team Development, Innovation, & Supervision: Contributes ideas, input, and support to Union Special Events and Conference and other activities that impact the success of the department. Seeks out, applies, and shares knowledge of special events logistics, trends, and innovations.
Administrative:Responsible for accounts payable for event vendors and accounts receivable for client invoices. Administers contract cycle (create, negotiate, approve, execute), develops program plans, monthly and quarterly reports and forecasts. Generates reports on profitability of potential events for discussion with the Director of Events and Central Scheduling. Offers to help colleagues during busy times and for overlapping responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event/business management, or a related field and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or 3-5 years of related work experience.
Previous customer service experience, preferably in the events industry. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with varied constituencies.
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Ability to move between buildings and walk for extended periods.
Technically proficient and experienced in working with systems and applications. These include software platforms for scheduling, space planning and logistics through software tools.

As a Clinician for Mobile Crisis, you will provide crisis risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), crisis stabilization and interventions, de-escalation techniques and follow-up services to the identified client experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises. Pay Status and Classification: Temporary, Non-Exempt, Part-time.
Supervisor: Transportation Manager
Position Purpose:Provides transportation of Union College students, staff and community members to and from College approved locations following safety protocols
Responsibilities:
Duties of the driver include a pre-trip inspection of the equipment to be used during the designated route
Provide the dispatcher with trip information prior to the start of each trip
Maintain the scheduled times and locations as posted for the Trolley Service
Report all concerns of vehicle safety, including concerns of safety for the community being served, i.e. road hazards, sick or intoxicated students to the immediate supervisor from Campus Safety
Report any incidents whether they appear minor or major to the driver
Qualifications:
Drivers must possess and maintain a valid New State Commercial Driver's License, minimum class "B" with "P" endorsement.
2+ years of transportation driving experience
Strong communications skills for working with a diverse group of college Faculty, Staff and Students.
Drivers are subject to commercial driver’s license (CDL) standards.
All drivers are subject to random drug and alcohol testing as mandated by citations “49 CFR 382” & “49 CFR 40”
