Clinicial Site Supervisor - Mobile Crisis
Licensed Social Workers are eligible for a $7,500 signing bonus!
Relocation Package available within New York State!
As a mobile Clinical Site Supervisor, you will oversee daily management and oversight of all staff to ensure management of the crisis line and onsite response to all 6 counties is coordinated. You will report to Director of Crisis Services and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily supervision and oversight to staff including:
- Manage the crisis line
- Monitor triages to ensure appropriate call management response
- Assist with coordinating team response based on staffing per call
- Maintain knowledge of the schedule for team response
- Monitor Teams Chat and provide supervision/coordination
- Interview, hire, and coordinate the onboarding of new staff with the Director
- Oversee the training of new staff according to each discipline

Requirements and Education:
- Master's degree (MA/MS) required
- 3 - 4 year's experience
- LCSW or LMHC required, LMSW eligible for LCSW will be considered

As a Clinician for the Behavioral Health Center, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team with the underserved populations in our community by providing clinical counseling to individuals, families and couples in an outpatient mental health clinic licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH).At the Albany County Probation site, you will focus on screening children and adolescents for mental health needs as well as case management and collaboration with the probation team to ensure connection to appropriate services in the community. You will report to the Director of Behavioral Health and will work onsite, with your hours divided between two locations, the Behavioral Health Center at New Karner in Albany and the Albany County Probation Department, Juvenile Services Office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of clients aged birth to 65, providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and individual and family therapy services to those assigned to caseload.
- Create initial treatment plans, subsequent treatment plan reviews, progress notes for each scheduled appointment, and other documentation/assessments as indicated.
- Collaborate and coordinate with current community resources and assist with referrals for such services.
- Attend Behavioral Health Center staff meeting twice a month.
- Attend and participate in Supervision; weekly, bi-weekly or monthly based on licensure level or individual needs.
- Hours require one evening a week until 8 pm.
Requirements and Education:
- Requires a Master’s degree, MSW or equivalent.
- Must be licensed prior to starting, or be willing to apply for a permit upon hire. LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R preferred.
- Required to pass licensing exam within six months of employment if working with a limited permit.

Clinical Case Manager, Intensive Family Empowerment Program
As a Clinical Case Manager in the Intensive Family Empowerment Program, you will provide six to nine months of intensive services to families whose children are either at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. The goals of the program are to prevent out-of-home placement for troubled children, provide a safe environment to return children already in placement, and prevent future out-of-home placement. You will report to the Program Coordinator and will work in a combination of on-site and remote settings with travel to client's homes required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide home and community services to the identified youth and their caregiver as prescribed in the treatment plan for those enrolled in our Family Preservation Services.
- Educate parents and their child in a variety of social-emotional and parenting skills such as communication, discipline, anger management, emotional regulation, attunement, caregiver affect management, decision making, problem-solving, social skill building, budgeting, family and home organization, behavioral management, etc.
- Maintain a caseload of three children.
- Complete and maintain appropriate case records through the completion of intake, assessments, progress notes, reports, etc. following agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements.
- Participate in the comprehensive assessment and creation of the treatment plan for assigned cases to determine and address service needs and ensure the provision of regular treatment plan meetings and service plan reviews.
- Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family courts, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and family as it relates to their treatment.
- You will work Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and a rotating on-call schedule.

Lecturer of Biomedical Engineering Position at Union College
The Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at Union College invites applications for a Lecturer of Biomedical Engineering position, beginning Fall 2024. The position is renewable with a contract period of three years. After six years of employment at Union, Lecturers are eligible for promotion to Senior Lecturer with the possibility of contract lengths up to five years. A Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates expecting to complete their doctoral thesis before September 2024 are also welcome to apply. We seek an individual who demonstrates a strong commitment to student-centered undergraduate education, including those with a professional interest in pedagogy. Service duties will include coordinating the Summer Clinical Immersion Program with our local partners, advising our Biomedical Engineering Society student chapter, and coordinating the biomedical engineering seminar series. Although research is not an expectation of this position, the successful candidate will have the option to continue scholarly activity and will have access to College funds and a wide array of advanced instrumentation and facilities. Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $81,000 - $84,000. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
