How important is the Internet to you? Is it something you rely on every day?   Do you think everyone should have easy access to the internet, and be able to know how to use it?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, a part time position at our Internet Help Desk may be a good fit for you.

We are seeking help desk technicians to answer incoming calls. Call topics include: resolution and troubleshooting of internet, email and video -related services.

Our call center services multiple ISPs across the country.  These providers are not the large corporations you see skits about on SNL, but the smaller companies that are doing their best to provide high speed internet access to rural USA. 

*No experience is necessary.  Our paid training will provide you with the tools you need to succeed, and our excellent support staff will continue to guide you throughout your time at Golden West.

What we don’t have:

• Sales goals (Or any sales/upselling)
• Quotas
• Strict dress codes
• Scripts that must be followed

What we DO have:

• Interactions with a wide variety of personalities from across the nation.
• A safe, supportive, and non-judgmental atmosphere.
• Free Wi-Fi, free fountain soda/beverages in the break room.
• Flexible schedules allow you to work 3, 4, or 5 shifts a week (up to 29 hours). With shifts available for everyone from early birds to night owls, you can choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle. We do request consistent availability for one weekend shift.

Whether you stay with us for a couple of years or move on to start a career path in IT, the experience you gain with us will last a lifetime!

Starting wage is $14.25! Those who demonstrate success and complete a 90-day probationary period may have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in South Dakota.

*Preferred candidates will have a working knowledge of current digital communication methods, an understanding of streaming technologies and a strong ability to multi-task.
