Visual Knowledge Share (VKS)

Software Sales Representative

Seeking a passionate, creative results orientated individual to sell and implement the Visual Knowledge Share (VKS) software at customer sites. This position is based out of the Binghamton, NY office with the corporate office located in Montreal, Canada


  • Present and sell VKS to prospective customers
  • Listen to and understand customer requiements
  • Convert customer expectations into tangible benefits.
  • Define and document solutions and implementation requirements
  • Demonstrate all software capabilities
  • Perform on site and remote customer training
  • Coordinate the implementation of 3rd party vendor requirements as needed
  • Transition successfully implemented accounts to operational status
  • Provide product usability and customer featured requests to sales and development teams
  • Exhibit at trade shows and other events


  • 3 to 5 years of experience in working directly with  customers in the selling of and support of information technology solutions, or 3 to 5 years experience in manufacturing operations (ex. Quality, Production, Engineering)
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or industry 4.0 smart manufacturing knowledge is preferred
  • Prior manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise with microsoft products and devices (word, excel,powerpoint etc)
  • Must be willing to travel to customer sites
  • Demonstrated success multi tasking and prioritizing based on business demands
