JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible to the Vice President of Student Affairs & Senior Diversity Officer for the development, implementation and management of the campus safety and law enforcement programs of the College; including the protection of persons and property on campus, safety and security planning for the campus and College satellite locations, compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, supervision of department peace officers and civilian staff, and acting as the primary liaison with local law enforcement agencies, courts and the County District Attorney’s Office.
This position is within the Professional Administrators Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of experience in the field of law enforcement, at least three years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. Must be certified and maintain certification as a campus peace officer or police officer in New York State; New York State DCJS Supervisory certification and possess a valid New York State driver’s license.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: College law enforcement and college supervisory experience.
EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE: $81,023-$121,534 Salary subject to change pending outcome of Professional Administrators Association negotiations. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a College employee, this appointment includes NYS retirement benefit options with a choice of a pension or generous employer match to a 414 retirement plan, attractive Health Care options with 80% of premiums covered by the College, post-retirement health insurance and supportive work-life balance with 16 holidays, 20 vacation and 12 sick days per year along with tuition assistance and ability of application to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in addition to other benefits offered by the College. JOB DESCRIPTION: Leads fundraising and private philanthropy in support of the College and its students. Manages and facilitates the work of the TC3 Foundation Board operations and development in accordance with Board bylaws, applicable laws and regulations, and best practices. Manages and executes development operations including cultivating and soliciting individual donors, prospect research, researching and writing proposals and foundation grants, developing and managing campaigns, alumni outreach, and special events. Serves as the development officer for all private philanthropic activity of the College.
This position is within the Professional Administrators Union and reports to the President. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of related experience, including direct responsibility for cultivation, stewardship and service of donors, customers or clients, and documented track record of success with achieving results and goals. Two years of supervisory experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Professional experience in higher education or non-profit organizations.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Director of Facilities (DOF) reports to the Vice President of Finance and Administration (VPFA) and is responsible for providing general administration, supervision, and professional direction for College and Affiliated Enterprise facilities and property management functions, including capital planning, space administration, utilities management, facilities maintenance, sustainability, new capital construction and renovations, landscape, and other physical plant maintenance services. The DOF assists the VP in the formulation of campus policies and confidential contract discussions related to property management and capital projects.
This position is within the Professional Administrators Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, Construction Management, or related field. Eight (8) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible work experience in facility/physical plant management, of which at least three (3) years within a supervisory capacity. Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management. Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management. Knowledge of State, federal, and environmental regulations. Ability to independently coordinate efforts involving several departments. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Demonstrated problem-solving ability, using good judgment, critical decision-making, and strong negotiation skills. Extensive experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and procurement bidding processes, preferably in a public organization. Proven expertise in project management and process re-engineering. Significant experience managing projects, including large projects of up to two years duration.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Tompkins Cortland Community College seeks a dynamic and engaging full-time tenure track faculty member with a focus on student success and retention. Position includes 15 credits per semester in Sociology and Anthropology courses. These credits may involve teaching face-to-face, remote, day, evening, online, hybrid, and HyFlex courses. Courses will include introductory sociology and cultural anthropology and the opportunity to teach and develop additional courses that address stratification and inequality and/or a global perspective. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to maintain, develop, and update course curricula and work on and possibly lead initiatives for future development. Other activities will include student advising, serving on college committees, holding office hours, and outcomes assessment. This position is within the Faculty Association Union.
