We are looking for a medical assistant with experience working in a healthcare setting to join our team. This position will assist our General Surgeons in their busy office practice including but not limited to rooming patients, taking vitals, returning patient phone calls, scheduling surgeries, assisting with form completion and insurance authorizations. Knowledge of computers is a must because we use an electronic medical record and accurate data entry is an expectation for this position. This position is full-time Monday-Friday (38 hours/week) with medical and dental benefits, pension after one year and no working nights, major holidays or weekends. Medical experience/knowledge is preferred.
