C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere Ag, material handling and power sports locations has an opening for a Service Technician at its Billings, Montana material handling location. A service technician performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned material handling equipment.

Essential Duties:

• Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on material handling equipment
• Participates in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Maintains current product knowledge of our products
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
• Loads and unloads equipment when requested
• Promotes and sells the service department to customers including service work, inspections, and parts to increase customer safety and satisfaction
• Mentors other less experienced service technicians
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Follows all safety procedures and guidelines and works in a safe manner

Requirements

• Previous material handling equipment operation and repair experience
• Associates or working towards a Diesel Technology degree or related field
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. occasionally

• Knowledge of tools and techniques used to repair equipment
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience in operating vehicles and equipment, including those used for diagnostic purposes
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Willingness to travel on job assignments
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling

This position can offer a transition into other departments upon training completion such as Automotive Technician, Parts Counter, Service Advisor and Service Management. 

Required:

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving history
• Experience preferred

Duties Include:

• Washing cars for the sales lot and delivery
• Vacuuming and shampooing interiors
• Applying paint and windshield treatments
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Fueling vehicles
• Assisting in other shop duties as needed

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Duties: Assist with all phases of surgery, Understand Sterile technique, Perform enviornmental cleaning in OR's within our ASCs, Set out supplies and instruments, Hand sterile instruments to surgeon's during cases, Clean and sterize instruments, stock supplies, assist staff and visiting surgeons, and strict HIPAA adherence. ++

Travel to satellite offices (Thermopolis, WY & Lander, WY)  (rotates among Surgical Techs)
