We are seeking a motivated individual to join H-S Precision in our Stock Department. As part of the Stock Department team, you will paint our stocks to they are painted to production standards. This is a position that requires a detail oriented and organized personality. You must be able to lift up to 45 pounds unaided, wear a respirator and be able to bend and lift items throughout your shift.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint stocks to meet production and quality requirements.
• Learn proper additive to paint ratios and color formulas.
• Learn types of stock and production colors, camo and complex paint patterns.
• Work with fiberglass, bondo and spot putty and other materials to properly sand and repair imperfections in stocks before painting.
• Use safety equipment, including a respirator, as required.
• Maintain paint guns, including daily maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Clean and maintain paint booth.
• Perform daily maintenance of work area and department to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or Management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 20-45+ pound lifting requirement, depending upon the position.
• Minimum 8 hours per day standing.
• Warm/Hot working conditions.
• Handling chemicals, along with fiberglass and other irritating materials (PPE provided)
• Fast-paced production process, including loud tools and machinery.
• Dusting working conditions from sanding.
• Repetitive movements, vibrating hand tools.
• Respirators are required for painting (Fit test required).
• Ability to follow established procedures and instructions.
• Ability to stay focused and on-task despite repetitious work.
• Attention to detail with ability to follow established procedures and instructions.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with automotive/detail painting preferred.
• Previous experience with paint guns and hand tools preferred.
• Ability to work with other team members, team leaders and management.
