We are seeking to fill a part-time chiropractic reception position with a candidate who conducts themself in a professional manner, sensitive to confidentiality and who is genuine.  This candidate will receive patients prior to the chiropractor and therefore the first impression of the office is of utmost importance. This candidate should possess a friendly personality maintaining a high level of manners, conduct and respect.

The successful candidate will possess a warm, friendly personality, is confidential, has excellent telephone etiquette, the ability to multi-task, is accurate and efficient and has excellent interaction skills with the public and fellow employees.

Office Responsibilities

Greet patients upon arrival, prepare their chart for treatment, process their visit and payment upon treatment completion, schedule next visit.

Maintain and respect the privacy and dignity of each patient while assuring patient confidentiality.

Greet new patients, ensure the completion of the new patient intake forms, process their information maintaining all consent forms are completed and signed, enter information into the patient management program.

Ask each patient upon arrival if there is any changes to be made to their personal information, maintain all consent forms are completed and signed.

Maintain flow of patients through the office in an efficient and effective manner, knowing who is in each treatment room - escort each patient to their treatment room for consultation/examination, all treatment rooms will be properly cleaned between patients ensuring face paper of examining table is changed and previous patient chart has been removed.

Answer phone in a friendly, professional and courteous manner, schedule/cancel/reschedule appointments, proficient in recording and relaying messages for chiropractor.

Maintain patient charts, organize patient charts for the next business day, file patient charts at end of each business day.

Balance and close out daily appointments, summary sheets and payments.

Maintain and invoice accounts receivable.

Assist the chiropractor in the completion of documents, patient letters, insurance claims, WSIB claims. Knowledge of PMP, HCAI and Telus is a definite asset.

Organize and maintain forms and stationary required for the front desk.

Maintain the chiropractor's calendar.

Resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.

Receive, process and stock inventory, office supplies.

Available to cover shifts for vacation/sick time as needed.

Organize and clean office, empty and remove garbage at the end of business day for the next day.
