IT Infrastructure Sales Executive

SEA Group, Inc. is seeking an infrastructure solutions sales representative to establish business relationships with new customers, pursue new business opportunities, and maintain established accounts.

Education/Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years outside sales experience preferred
  • Highly organized
  • Network design background and understanding of basic technology components
  • Working knowledge of the internet, and MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), including Visio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

New Business Development

  • Identify and qualify potential business opportunities via:
    • Cold calls
    • Prospecting
    • Follow up on leads
  • Present formal proposals to executive levels of organizations
  • Manage sales campaigns

Account Management/Customer Service

  • Consult with customers to assess their business needs
  • Identify and/or promote sales opportunities to existing customers
  • Research possible solutions through manufacturers, distributors, technical support, etc.
  • Identify, develop and present proposals of optimum technology solutions to customers
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making process, and overcome objections to closure
  • Communicate details of technology implementation to service and purchasing departments
  • Track project progress, communicating to customers and SEA staff as needed
  • Register and maintain customer contracts, renewals and software upgrades
  • Keep your pipeline of opportunities current and up-to-date
  • Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals on a consistent basis

Knowledge Base

  • Acquire and maintain product knowledge to support products and services
    • Attend vendor events
    • Attend product training seminars
    • Maintain certifications as needed
