Invoicing and Payable Administrator

Invoicing / Payables Administrator

 

We are looking for someone who is available for a minimum 12 – 18-month term starting training in October 2019.  The job is available for those seeking either long- or short-term employment.  While this is a maternity leave position the applicant will have an opportunity to transition into other roles in the company once the term is filled.

The successful applicant will be responsible for processing customer orders and carrying out billing and administrative tasks.  Some dispatch and payables work will berequired as well as other office functions.

Good communication skills are necessary for this position as you will be conversing with customers, production and shipping staff as well as third party transportation firms. 

Preference will be given to those with post-secondary education with a focus on business administration, finance or accounting.  Prior experience in a similar role will be beneficial.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel are required.  Training will be provided on all internal programs and experience working with Accpacc is an additional asset. 

 

This is a full time position 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours / week).  Some flexibility is available.  Salary will be negotiated based on applicants’ qualifications.
