Full Time Customer Service/Event Coordinator at Wellness Clinic

POPULAR NEPEAN WELLNESS CLINIC - We are looking for: an energetic, extroverted, happy person who exudes health and vitality who has a desire to make a difference in other people’s lives. Four years work experience required, at least two years of continuous employment with same employer.

Job responsibilities include:     

-Creating relationships in our community through cold calling and lead generation

- Setting up and hosting health talks at businesses in our local area

-Maintain relationships with leads, through email, letters and phone calls

- Setting up meetings and events to create marketing opportunities for our practice

 

Candidate must have 2 years of college education with:

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong sales skills

-Ability to create and maintain positive, effective working relationships with our team and the public

-Strong computer and internet skills

-Able to multitask while focusing on details

 

Candidate must also be:

-Self-motivated

-Well-organized, detail oriented and punctual

- Affinity for creating relationships and sales process

Must be trainable, willing to do homework to learn scripting and office procedures. Attending onsite/offsite training and seminar training is required.

The position will start as temp-to-perm, but could possibly start as a direct hire if we find the right individual. Your hours will be split between being in the office and out in the community, so reliable transportation is a must.

Job Responsibilities:
• Administrative support of all marketing initiatives both in the office and outside of the office
• Seek new business that would benefit from our service
• Monitor company's brand in social media channels
• Create marketing material

Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Highly organized for effectively handling multiple tasks
• Social media, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn
• Upbeat attitude and easily approachable
• Self-starter with ability to work independently without supervision
• Email marketing program knowledge a plus
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a plus

• Past work history in customer service/sales/marketing (We are willing to train the RIGHT candidate)
General office experience is a MUST

• Past work history in customer service/sales/marketing (We are willing to train the RIGHT candidate)
• Poised under pressure and able to multitask with efficiency (previous experience with handling a heavy volume of phone calls is ideal)
• Eager to thrive in a long-term role
• Bright, personable, and customer service-oriented; proven ability to anticipate executive needs and plan ahead
• Warm and approachable team player with exceptional communication skills to interact with diverse personalities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment

Hours: PT 30 hours per week to FT 40 hours per week (flexibility within the hours of 7am-6pm, Mon-Fri)

Will convert to full-time!  This is a certainty.

Must be willing to travel locally

• Some travel may be required
• Strong judgment regarding sensitive and confidential information, and making sound decisions in challenging situations
• Proficiency with MS Office, Publisher and or Adobe programs are a PLUS

Education Level:

2 years of college or graduate level in related areas of study
