EMPLOYMENT DATE: May 2019 TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, Permanent
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Director is responsible for the creation, implementation, and assessment of comprehensive, creative programming funded through the College’s student activity fee. The position’s main responsibilities are to provide guidance and support for the student programming board, student clubs and organizations, late night programming, student center programming, and leadership workshops. The Assistant Director will work collaboratively to support the mission of the Student Center and Student Activities department and the College.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with participation in co-curricular activities. Minimum of 2 years of experience in student activities, student leadership, student affairs, or other related field. Demonstrated experience using social media. Demonstrated success in developing and facilitating leadership workshops. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as determined by programming needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, College Administration, or a related field. Knowledge and application of a variety of leadership and student development theories with demonstrated experience with collaborating across multiple programs and departments.
EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE: $48,194 - $60,242 - Starting rate will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
