Sales Manager for Used Car Dealership

Sales Manager

We are a growing Pre-owned automotive sales company that has a local footprint. We are looking to build an exceptional team for an exceptional community. Note: This is not an "Arm Chair Quarterback" position. You must be a trainer, developer, action taker, closer and be self-motivated. This position requires the ability to step in day one and take a deal from start to finish - all the way through F&I. "The Sales Manager, manages all sales functions at the dealership. Their primary objective is simply to drive sales while managing overhead responsibly. The best Store Leaders are hands-on problem solvers with a knack for motivating and developing others." -

Experience REQUIRED: 1+ years of dealership sales experience. 1+ year of recent F&I experience REQUIRED Skills Required: Strong problem solving skills. Exceptional customer service skills. A hands-on approach to management with a passion for motivating a sales team. Great teamwork and a clear understand of (and commitment to) our DRIVE values. Third level education completed (preferred). You Are Expected To Build & Grow A Great Team: With All-Stars in Every Position Tools & Processes: Identify and implement process changes as needed. Adhere to ALL policies and operating guidelines.

Expectations: Ensure all team members are coached in Armstrong's Auto & Harrisonburg Motors processes and are clear on daily priorities and goals. Atmosphere: Maintain an enthusiastic attitude in the team and build positive employee attitudes and morale. Measurement: Set goals for your store in partnership with management. Reporting out as required on progress. Staffing: Hire, coach, and formally manage performance for your team. Key Responsibilities: Sell: Optimize sales unit volume and profitability with your team, using the Armstromg's sales process. Manage Financing: Ensure the store is adhering to the Armstrong's lender relationship priorities.

Administrative: Work with the General Manager to review store forecasts & performance. Market: Creating (with our marketing team) effective advertising programs.+ Impress: Ensure high customer satisfaction in your store and high participation in customer surveys.

Measurements for this Role: Customer Satisfaction Lead Management Sales Volume Profit per Sale Compliance Overhead / Cost Management Employee Satisfaction Loan Portfolio Performance Adherence to Operating Policies & Processes.
