Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Senior End User Technology Engineer. Primary Functions: Responsible for guiding the implementation and processes to support all end user technology at Hudson Valley Credit Union. Act as a 2nd tier of support for Desktop and Infrastructure teams. Lead and assist with desktop, mobile, audio-visual, cloud and internal customer productivity tools. Create processes, standards and guidelines for the support and maintenance of all in-scope technology.
Responsibilities
- Create documented standards and procedures for support staff to follow
- Build and implement “golden image” templates to be used for the enterprise wide deployment of end user technology
- Oversee the implementation of Audio-Visual technology and ensure best practices are followed
- Coordinate with QA, Architecture and Information Security to ensure end user technology adheres to security standards and maintains a technology roadmap.
- Build escalation processes to act as a 2nd tier of support for HVCU Information Technology support teams and mentors those teams to continually develop their knowledge, skills and abilities
- Build, design and maintain Windows System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Ensure procedures and tools for creation of software packages exist and are kept current.
- Create automations to assist in the management and deployment of software, tools and configurations at scale.
- Create procedures for the management of HVCU’s mobile devices
- Perform as HVCU’s on-staff Microsoft 365 expert, being a point of escalation and continuing to investigate new features for HVCU staff.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Embrace and apply HVCU’s guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is required.
- Minimum 8 years' experience as an engineer and/or administrator of Microsoft systems, required
- Minimum 5 years' experience administering Windows SCCM, required
- Minimum 5 years' experience supporting Microsoft 365, required
- Minimum 3 years' proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI), required
- Minimum 2 years' experience in planning, deploying & support end-point security solutions, preferred
Minimum 2 years' experience support Audio-Visual Deployments, preferred
Minimum 2 years' Creating and executing strategy & roadmaps, preferred
Minimum 5 years' Work History in Credit Union or financial services industry preferred
