Administrative Professional

United Yacht Sales is a family owned and operated business since 2002 and is one of the largest yacht brokerage firms in the country. We are seeking an administrative professional to join our family in Stuart, FL. This position requires a self-starter with the motivation and ability to multi task under minimum supervision.

The ideal candidate must

  • work well under pressure

  • Strong work ethic and understanding that a task must not be left unfinished

  • be able to Multi-Task multiple projects and

Duties to include but are not limited to:

  • Speaking with customers regarding the sale and/or purchase of their vessel
  • Prepare and/or coordinate paperwork necessary to complete the sale and/or purchase of vessels
  • Coordinating with marine lenders, attorneys and vessel documentation specialists during the transaction
  • Verifying information provided across multiple government databases
  • Understanding different aspects of vessel ownership
  • Understanding different state and federal requirements for vessel ownership
  • Understanding of state sales and use tax requirements
  • Generating reports
  • Bookkeeping
  • Answering Phones
  • General Office Responsibilities

Ideal candidates will have a background in the marine industry, real estate industry or the financial sector or those with a thirst for knowledge and challenges and are willing and able to learn. Salary will be based on experience. Benefits include paid vacation and 401K plan.
