This area is processing and they are the heart of the plant,  that kickstarts everything for the plants different departments.

Must have good written and verbal skills and attention to detail. Willing to learn and be dependable. Must be able to effectively communicate and read in English,  Bilingual is a plus.

Schedule to be determined most likely Mon-Fri 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. .

Pay would be 13.50 + depending on experience, opportunity for advancement


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review execution of manufacturing sheets, HTST charts and records
  • Set up, and maintain processing equipment and subsequent lines correctly and safely
  • Prepare pasteurized and raw tanks
  • Obtain and add ingredients as requested on manufacturing sheets. Properly document lot codes, temperatures as required on manufacturing sheets. 
  • Set up CIP jumpers and test chemicals in CIP
  • Manually clean any equipment that is dirty or needed for production (COP)
  • Store and retrieve equipment as needed
  • Clean the general area and leave plant in neat and orderly manner
  • Complete daily processing schedules and plant logs
  • Communicate with yogurt operators about products running/to be run
  • Obtain and maintain sampler and weigher's license as well as charm certification. Check and receive bulk milk tankers following proper SOPs
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures (GMP, HACCP, Critical Safety Rules, SOPs, SSOPs)
  • Other duties assigned


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work well under direct supervision, but demonstrate problem solving abilities, and initiative when necessary
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Work safely with hazardous plant equipment, tools and chemicals

Working Conditions and Physical Requirement:

  • Work requires being on your feet the entire shift
  • Yogurt and processing temps up to ~85⁰F and often humid
  • Work shift frequently exceeds 8 hours
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent bending at waist, squatting and walking
  • Occasional climbing of ladders to adjust machines, connect pipes, check and clean tanks
  • Occasional lifting above head
  • Constant use of hands, fingers and wrists
