Tier 2 Technical Support Specialist

Multiple opportunities for Tier 2 Technical Support Specialists!

 

Responsibilities of the Tier 2 Technical Support Specialist include:

  • Take calls to technical support, handling inbound repair requests and Tier 2 technical issues
  • Manage ticket queues
  • Verify issues and escalate them as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues
  • Provide status updates to customers
  • Work with field service technicians to resolve technical issues
  • Provide superior customer service, including diffusing escalated situations when needed
  • Identify chronic issues and areas for improvement
  • Meet performance goals
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications of the Tier 2 Technical Support Specialist:

  • Associate degree in an applicable field
  • Industry certifications such as Network+ and CCNA are preferred
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
