Prevention Clinician - Masters-level

Our Prevention program is currently seeking a full-time Masters-level Clinician for our Prevention program in Albany, NY. Families are referred to Prevention programs when a systemic, long term issue is identified by the county Department of Social Services (DSS). Clinicians provide in-home therapeutic sessions working with the family unit as a whole while also providing case management to link the family to appropriate services.  

This role will maintain a caseload of up to 6 families, in partnership with a Clinical Case Manager, to provide clinical assessment, planning, and treatment for children and families in their homes and community. The Clinician will advocate for children and families as a key member of their overall service provider team, and will ensure regular treatment plan meetings and service plan reviews. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required. Minimum of one year of experience with at-risk youth and their families. Good work history in similar position. Must have valid NYS driver’s license and ability to transport others.
