Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Managing the bi-weekly payroll process through Paycom by monitoring time clock punches and time off requests.
- Verifying timesheets,calculating necessary deductions, and updating employee information in the payroll system and spreadsheets.
- Entering I9 information and maintaining binder.
- Preparing and entering the Payroll Journal Entry into Quickbooks.
- Preparing monthly bills and yearly 1094’s and 1095’s.

Job Summary | The Director of the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship (the “Severino Center”) will work with the Assistant Vice President, RPIVentures (“RPIV”) and the Vice President, Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (“OSAT”) in shaping and advancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem at RPI and the region. In collaboration with RPIV, they will develop a strategic vision for the Severino Center, aligning it with the Institute’s priorities and entrepreneurship programs. This includes fostering innovation, promoting collaboration, and ensuring RPI’s leadership in regional entrepreneurship and innovation. The Director will actively engage with the Deans of the School of Engineering and the Lally School of Management regarding the development of a modern entrepreneurship curriculum. They will also collaborate with faculty, students, industry partners, and community organizations to drive initiatives that support startups, technology transfer, and commercialization. Additionally, the Director will oversee program development, mentorship, and outreach efforts to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and foster a culture of innovation. |

Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). The Analyst will review and keep abreast of pertinent studies and research, and will seek information from industry data sources, carry out interviews and surveys, and analyze and interpret the information. The work is based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as part of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC). The Analyst will interact with FIC members and participants to learn about the industry, discuss sustainable fashion industry problems and potential solutions, consider ways to advance the industry in New York State, and document relevant information and findings in report, paper, and/or book form. The Analyst will also provide suggestions where relevant to innovative project participants in the FIC’s accelerator. The Analyst will work closely with the Center Director and other FIC members. |

Job Summary | The Sr. Business Manager reports to the Vice President of Information Services and Technology, and Chief Information Officer. This role is responsible for managing the business and financial operations of the portfolio including finance, budget, personnel, space and facilities planning, and oversight of all fiscal and operating protocols. Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. The Director is responsible for leading real estate and economic development programs to attract diverse and innovative partners to engage on properties owned by the Institution both residential and commercial, inclusive of properties at Rensselaer Technology Park (RTP). This will comprise extensive collaboration with multiple portfolios including the Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (OSAT), Provost, Student Life, OCEC, and Finance. The Director is responsible to develop programs to attract and maintain tenant occupants of RTP and create a self-funded real estate program. Programs that cultivate community and regional relationships and foster an exchange of ideas between community leaders, industry partners, researchers and students. The Director is responsible for all fiscal management of the RTP and real estate program including operating and capital budget development and financial controls to achieve goals. |

Description
As a Payroll Specialist, you will process bi-weekly payroll and expense reimbursements, maintaining payroll files and systems, managing payroll deductions, preparing general ledger entries and reconciling accounts, and processing payroll reports. You will report to the Finance Manager and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Process employee timecards, which includes verifying hours and proper coding and preparing for upload into the payroll batch including processing of employee reimbursement requests.
- Maintain payroll web-based system, which includes entering data, processing data, processing checks, and reports.
- Process all benefit reports which includes health insurance, taxes, disability insurances, garnishments, and retirement contributions for payment including reconciling benefits to the payroll register.
- Audit general ledger payroll accounts and prepare any journal entries applicable to payroll.
- Process and verify quarterly and annual reports, including quarterly 941 reports.
- Keep accurate files on all employee payroll changes as provided by the HR Department.
- Maintain accurate account of employees’ leave balances and distribute reports.
- Maintain an accurate recording system for all payroll records.
- Bi-weekly reporting of overtime and FTE data to management.
- Train staff on processes and procedures related to payroll.
- Coordinate with program staff and managers for optimal payroll system reporting usage.
Requirements and Education:
- At least three to four years of related experience preferred

Job Summary | The Program Administrator, Sr manages activities of the Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development at RPI, also known as the Digital Gaming Hub, administered through the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. The Program Administrator, Sr is responsible for supervision and management of tasks related to the Hub’s mission, including community management, outreach, events planning and execution, assessment and reporting, and program development. The Administrator supports, initiates, and manages interactions and relations with internal and external partners, including industry partners, community organizations, economic development agencies, funding source, and not-for-profit agencies, research labs, and other stakeholders in the games and digital media ecosystem. This is a grant funded position. |
Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's Degree in game design, digital media, communications, or a related field Three (3) or more years of directly related experience. Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered. |

This position is the primary contact for Empire Merchants North customers and sales associates regarding customer payments, payment terms, and collections of past due balances. .
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS
• Maintain cash flow for EMN by applying payment to invoice(s), check processors have placed on customers account (On Account spreadsheet), update SAP terms for returned and/or ACH received from Finance, upload IPayx and Fintech payments into SAP and provide backup to Finance on cash application during high volume.
• Process notifications of invoice due to customer via email and sales management.
• Process past due A/R by securing payment plans on past due balances, provide progress and notes to Credit Assistant and AR Supervisor.
• Process Credit Block on pending orders by removing block, assigning credit terms, or extend credit limit increase on orders up to 5% but not to exceed $1,000.
• Report unpaid past due invoices to SLA and release customers to SLA for paid invoices while adhering to company policies and remaining compliant due to SLA regulations.
• Process State delinquent listing by updating customer credit terms.
• Post disputed items onto Excel spreadsheet for submission to SLA
• Provide Reception coverage as needed.
• Assist Customer Care team where needed by but not limited processing orders and order related inquiries.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related issues as needed.
• Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain organization’s stability and reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
