Service Engineer - Apartment Maintenance Manager

We are looking for an Apartment Service Engineer Manager to manage the overall maintenance department at our 272-unit property The Riverwalk at Salem.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional, organized and efficient shop, which provides quality and timely customer service to residents
  • Meet reporting deadlines and ensuring accuracy of information
  • Participate in team huddles and manage maintenance staff
  • Assist with maintaining/enforcing company and community policies
  • Working to retain renewals on a weekly basis
  • Participate in resident retention events – resident events
  • Process all make ready turns, service tickets
  • Field vendor calls about schedules & issue keys
  • Assist residents with concerns, questions, etc.
  • Assist property manager with budget requirements and goals

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of 2-years’ experience in multifamily property management
  • Experience with multi-family is required
  • Strong customer service skills; ability to promote good resident and service staff relationships
  • Ability to work on call
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to meet and manage deadlines in fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
  • Exceptional team-building skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented
