Veterinary Office Practice Manager 

 

Our Multi-Practice Medical Group is seeking candidates for a Veterinary Office Practice Manager to ensure that the overall business operations of a multi-site medical practice.

 

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Hire and train administrative staff
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance
  • Schedule staff to meet operational requirements
  • Oversee payroll
  • Assist in the establishment of office policies and procedures
  • Monitor office policies and procedures
  • Oversee facility cleaning, hygiene, safety and maintenance
  • Oversee removal of medical waste in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and ethics
  • Keep track of equipment and devices and oversee the management of inventory
  • Act as a liaison with vendors regarding equipment and supplies
  • Ensure patient records are current and accurate
  • Supervise patient scheduling
  • Oversee registration of clients/patients
  • Supervise medical coding, medical billing and banking
  • Ensure proper educational material is provided to clients
  • Communicate with clients regarding inquiries and complaints
  • Ensure client satisfaction

Job Requirements

Medical Office Practice Manager 

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree plus with a minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting, data, administrative processes and principles
  • Prior experience with managing a large group of 20+ employees a must!
  • Knowledge of human resource management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of medical coding
  • Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and state and federal laws
  • Computer skills including knowledge of relevant software
  • Relevant experience
