Masters-level Clinician - Queensbury

We are seeking a full-time Masters-level Clinician for our Prevention program based out of Queensbury, NY. This position has the responsibility for providing home-based clinical services with children and their families to help preserve or reunite them in accordance with Northeast Parent & Child Society’s stated purpose and mission statement of protecting children, preserving families and strengthening communities.  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:  

·Provide home and community based assessment, planning and treatment with individuals, groups and families with those enrolled in our Family Preservation services (the level of intensity/ number of direct service hours per family is dependent upon the service in which one is employed).  

·Complete all necessary records and client information in accordance with agency, county and state policy and funding requirements.  

·Continue skills development through agency-provided clinical/core trainings.  

·Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family courts, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and/or family as it relates to their treatment.  

·Primarily responsible for the clinical decisions when assigned and paired to work as a team with a Bachelors-level Clinician (Family Case Manager or Clinical Case Manager).  

·Ensure provision of regular treatment plan meetings and service plan reviews.  

  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  

·Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.  

·Minimum of one year of experience with at-risk youth and their families.  

·Good work history in similar position.  

·Must have valid NYS driver’s license and ability to transport others.
