Social Worker/Mental Health Counselor, Fee-for-Service
We are now hiring for a Fee-for-Service Clinician to serve children, adolescents and adults in Schenectady, NY.
The Child Guidance Center offers children and families help in managing their emotional well-being and assistance in resolving issues that may cause impaired emotional/behavioral functioning and psychiatric difficulties.
Clinician’s will provide clinical services to children, young adults, and families. Evaluation and DSMIVTR diagnosis; ongoing treatment utilizing a variety of recognized treatment modalities; maintain professional and accurate client record documentation in an electronic medical record environment, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Masters degree in Social Work from a graduate school of social work accredited by CSWE.
- NYS LCSW licensure preferred
- Will consider NYS LMSW with minimum of 2+ years direct practice experience
- Experience, training, or education commensurate with working with children and adolescents with serious and persistent emotional disturbance required.
This position encompasses the required scope of practice, supervision and setting required for licensure as an LCSW in New York State.
