JOB DESCRIPTION: The Vice President of Enrollment Management is the College’s chief enrollment professional who provides leadership, strategic thinking, and in –depth analysis for the College’s enrollment planning and management. This person is expected to help reimagine and lead traditional enrollment functions in a modern 21st century context. This work will be driven by the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive and vigorous strategic enrollment management plan. Leads and manages Admissions, Recruitment, Strategic Marketing, Media and Public Relations, Workforce Development and College Now program. In addition, this position collaborates closely with the Provost’s Office on the Global Initiatives program to ensure that recruitment strategies maximize student outcomes and advance the goals of the College.
This is a Management Confidential position and reports to the President. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree with at least ten years of progressive responsibility in enrollment and management functions within an educational system. Knowledge of FERPA, TITLE IX and other regulatory guidelines applicable to this area of work. Experience working closely with Institutional Research and related data assessment and trend analysis. Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative leader. Ability to perform with a high degree of diplomacy, confidentiality and professionalism. Demonstrated success in supervising multiple components within a complex institution. A forward-thinking leader with a record of successful recruitment strategies, professional diligence, and creative problem solving. Ability to work successfully with diverse populations.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree with at least seven years of progressive responsibility in enrollment and management functions within higher education, preferably in a community college setting.
EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE: $115,000 - $140,000 Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a College employee, this appointment includes NYS retirement benefit options with a choice of a pension or generous employer match to a 414 retirement plan, attractive Health Care options with 80% of premiums covered by the College, post-retirement health insurance and supportive work-life balance with 16 holidays, 20 vacation and 12 sick days per year along with tuition assistance and ability of application to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in addition to other benefits offered by the College. JOB DESCRIPTION: Tompkins Cortland Community College seeks a dynamic and engaging full-time tenure track faculty member with a focus on student success and retention. Position includes 15 credits per semester in Accounting courses in our Accounting AAS and Accounting AS programs. This may involve teaching students in first and second-level accounting courses including Financial, Intermediate, Cost, Managerial, and Income Taxation. Teaching may involve face-to-face, remote, day, evening, online, hybrid and HyFlex courses. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to maintain, develop, and update course curricula and work on and possibly lead initiatives for future development. Other activities will include student advising, serving on college committees, holding office hours, and outcomes assessment. This position is within the Faculty Association Union. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides coordination and support for Baker Center for Learning (BCL) services promoting access and academic success for students with disabilities. Acts as one of the College's designated contacts for determination of appropriate academic adjustments and auxiliary aids and services for students with disabilities. Responsibilities include skilled social justice model interviewing of students; interpretation of psycho-educational, medical, and other disability-related documentation; evaluation of academic adjustment/auxiliary aids and services needs; coordination of appropriate academic adjustments, coaching, advising, and other direct services; training for staff; and program development to address diverse student learning needs. May be asked to act as the College’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (504) Compliance Officer.
