County Auditor

Jefferson County is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the auditing of all County Claims, accounts and charges to ensure compliance with applicable State law and regulations, and for the preparation and maintenance of related financial reports. The County Auditor prepares studies and reports on financial and budgetary matters as requested by the Board of Legislators. Additionally, the County Auditor undertakes special audits of departmental financial operations as requested by the Board or County Administrator.

Salary Range: $89,392 - $100,612 per year.

Information Systems Security Analyst

Jefferson County is seeking a skilled professional to assist in the organization and control of system security administration activities to ensure the safekeeping and protection of data and system assets from illegal, intentional, or unauthorized disclosure, use, modification, or destruction. Responsibilities include granting and monitoring computer access capabilities for various system users on a County-wide basis; interfacing with departmental coordinators to discuss and/or resolve security issues and problems and performing analyses of data security systems to keep management informed of system utilization patterns. Salary Range: $80,898 - $91,051 per year.
